lets see how this goes....

Ladies and dudes please advise>>>

So we are talking about mycorrhizal fungi stuff. I am wondering, is it all the same?

The only thing I notice is the vast difference in price per amount; ranging from around $1.50 - $7.00. I want to know the real different. How many species, what do cannabis plants like (endo vs echo) and why, which one has a higher concentrate and does the concentrate even matter, etc... questions of this nature is what i am concerned with

I want the best stuff, help me out! I ask because I HAVE done some research. I ask because I am not a scientist, I am a philosopher.

also no jargon>please please please do NOT pollute this thread with shit and stupid comments.

I would say, Fungi Perfecti is hands down, the most reliable, reputable mushroom products company on the planet.

I use Mycogrow formulated vegetables and have no complaints, but cant really answer any in-depth questions about relationships between certain species etc.

And, I also know that even the "Professionals" in the botany field, have many theories as to how and what exactly these varied fungi actually do.

But, none the less, if you ever visit an old growth forest, undoubtedly, all the plants are connected by fungi mycelium, and they distribute nutrients and information across the invisible underground grid.

O............... and then there was Mycogrow, the veggie stuff, BOOM! A fellow trusted RIU member, I try to start in constant contact with, also suggested mycogrow.

I have tried the wettable powder, and didn't like it. It doesn't actually mix into water, rather sinks to the bottom. Also tried top dressing . Failed to see any noticeable difference in transplant time, or accelerated growth.

If you do the research. All the wetable powders suck to a point. Befor people bash I'll explain. They take the living spores and make it into a powder by grinding it down with a grinding stone. Smashing the shit out of it. The number you see on the bag is of what they put in befor smashing it down. And in essence killing around 90%. Now this is good as a top feed boost not good to base your grow on. But the Xtreme line has what they call mykos drops. It is in the raw form. Befor grinding. So 90% is still alive. All you do is place 1-3 drops (small bio bags) in your buckets or dump 1 in your cube of RW. Roots go nuts. And after a few week just mix up the wetable powder. What ever it is. In to a feeding jug and top feed the outer edge of the pot. Do that once every 2 weeks your set. I have sence stopes using the powder all together. I got lazy. But still have 3 different brands sitting in my room.
Oh yes I know it says you can put the powder in your res but don't. They drown. Best application is to top feed and let it leach into your res.

I dont know anything about hydro but i can say that i have noticed a huge difference in all the plants that i have used it on the xtreme gardening and they all look so much more healthy i buy the little bags that are 2.50 it says on the package its good for six plants i just dump it in with a whole bag of soil and mix it up then plant rooted clones or rooted seedlings i dont put seedlings into the stuff thats bad news in my expierence

Didn't read the thread.

The only real difference is in price as there are only a VERY few concerns actually producing the stuff. It's sold in bulk, re labeled, re packaged and sold for whatever prices the nifty names and neat labels will bring.

I use either the fungi perfecti stumm (mycogrow), or the AEM from BioAg. Both quality, both cheap, but no nifty labels or names.

YMMV

If you haven't planted yet go with mykos drops in the midia. If not any will work just look for the cost per use. Mykos WP and great white are around the same. Just don't waste your money by adding it to the res. Mix it in a different container and top feed the plants with it once a week. Maybe 1/2 gallon each plant. You will get the same out of it and less waste.
