YaknGrow 2014

I have been a reader here for two years, and i feel its time to possibly help others and get a few of my own personal questions answered. I have had two successful outdoor photo grows, but this year i am planning on running some autos for some early smoke. I have chosen a few strains to play with and possibly do some breeding with some reg high cbd strains(Reggae-Revolution&Royal Queen-Royal Medic).

Autos
Sweet seeds-Sweet Skunk AutoFem
KC Brains-KC45 reg (I know it doest auto)
Buddha-Assorted AutoFem
Lowryder-Easy Ryder AutoFem
Advanced- Biodiesel Mass AutoFem

Photos
Sativa-Blackberry reg
Reggae-Revolution reg
Female-C99 outdoor x-line fem
Royal Queen-Royal Medic fem
Mars OG fem
Lavender Haze fem
Girl Scout Cookies fem
Kush berry fem

Any and all advice from previous growers of these strains is greatly appreciated.

For the autos, I plan on using an organic super soil...promix bx biofungicide&myco base with happy frog time release for veg, water crystals mixed in the bottom, diamacious earth, epsom salt, aged chicken manure, aged cow manure, a little extra perlite, worm castings, and then top dress with guano for flower.

For the Photos, they will all go in 3'x3'x3' holes with the same mix at 30% native(which is ancient forest)/70%mix.

I also brew tea with beneficial biologics kelp extract, EarthJuice biozeus, and worm castings.

My question is can I use the reusable 3g blue grocery bags from walmart or even the green ones from publix? There is a guy on youtube growing monster tomatoes and peppers out of the walmart bags.

Oh yea I do it all via a kayak!
Sweat is a small price to pay.
Looking to hit a lb for personal this year and do some cbd breeding along the way.
Who else can't wait for May?

Pics=Responses :)

Take some of your site, past grows/harvest? It's nothing personal, just a lot of talk and pipe dreams around here.
I look forward to seeing everyones gardens this year.

Looks like you are all set! You can definitely grow in a Walmart bag if you want to but it's looking like you spent a good amount of time and energy to get to where you are now. I would look into some Geopots or some sort of smartpot for your grow. Subbing up for pics!

Beautiful guerrilla pics! :D I love stuff like this! :D
Thanks it is a ton of work! Also, the "walmart bags" i am speaking of have the same qualities as smart pots, have handles, and are only 50 cents...this guy does all kinds of crazy stuff with themhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5iVBMBxvMsA
Mine of course will need to be dyed/sprayed light brown or something, and will not be in a baby pool. Instead, mine will sit on prepared holes and will have water crystals in the bag. Autos are the only ones going in the bags.

Maybe look around for some cheap burlap bags so you won't need to camouflage them? I am sure there is someone in your area that gets rid of that stuff on the regular.

Maybe some farmers or grocery stores. Feed stores may have some as well. Not sure of your location though but you could also sheck Craigslist if they are in your area as well. :)

your going to find that 3 gallons is not much even for an auto outdoors. the pics you posted look like they are in the ground and healthy. why not do it in the same manner this year?

Look what I found http://www.amazon.com/Mossy-Oak-Hunting-Accessories-MO12CB-BU/dp/B003RXSI9W/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1393683119&sr=8-1&keywords=camo+burlap
i am thinking i can get plenty of bags out of 52"x12'

The reason I have to plant in bags is the soil is nonexistant in the location i chose for the autos. The photos will def go in the ground.

So i have ordered the camp burlap. I plan on making 10-15 of the homemade bags for my autos. Currently twiddling my thumbs waiting on a Herbies order to arrive (day 7 from shipping).

Has anyone ever started autos inside and moved them outside about a month later? I would like for the them to get a good jump start like my photos that I will start soon.

Also, I just yakked out 20 bags of soil and did some work on a new site.
I purchased actinovate this week and plan on spraying my sites with copper fungicide and actinovate at the start of the season.
Cleaned the sd card on my CELLPHONE powered game camera and got it batteries for a new season(32pack).

Oh and Herbies came through after 8 days from order. Customer support is top notch and very discreet. they even changed the five freebies out for a couple auto fems.

Peace & Good Smoke

I am currently growing/flowering 2 Autos (freebies). I believe stating them early will only speed up harvest, not enlarge it.
Mine were also started under shop fluorescent and are currently outdoor (greenhouse).

How long did you leave them indoor?
