woo hoo .... so my first grow is about to get trimmed up...3 months of work is about to pay off besides the drying and cures that will be the death of me. I wanna thank everyone that has answered my questions...as i work more and more on this today i will take pics and post..any idea what to do with the left over leaves?

Make hash! Its a shame to let good trimmings go to waste. Looking forward to seeing your pictures.

man look up in the FAQ there are 3-4 cheep solutions to make a little hash for exactly your situation

i just bought a small bud grinder with a screen, then after the leaves dried i ground em up and smoked a shitload of kief.

I look forward to the pics of harvest... For hash don't you just keep the leaves that have 'trics' on - dry them out - rub/filter through some silk screen - wrap the dust in clingfilm, then wrap wet newspaper on the outside (to prevent burning)- place in the oven for 10 mins or so at 160c ish - let it cool and then enjoy!

I was going to do it myself after the last harvest but I made the mistake of putting the leaves in a glass jar and it all began to mould... use egg or mushroom boxes i.e. unsealed cardboard, or wrap in news paper.

Grats man i bet your fucking pumped. Those are some sexy buds. And do u think 2 CFL lights for 6 plants are fine for a week or 2 till i get more?

i just starting drying it today so it wil be a little while before i can smoke...im waiting for the leaves to dry t mae my first attempt at hash...
