Ey ho yo.

Can somebody explain wtf this is? Its like an albino bud. Heh.

Strain is point of no return from mandala seeds.

The plants were generally underfed, so i guess that has something to do with it,
but ive never seen this before.

Ye, you can probably see it, but hps is not the best light to show in, sorry for that ;)

1,2mx1,2mx2m grow tent (homebox, dont recommend, the zippers are anti-light proof)
600w hps with awings (wanna get a cooltube cause its hot, average 27-29 deg celcius)
use the biocanna line of nutes, and i guess that is the prob., cause i didnt use any veg-nutes into flowering,
so they were pretty drained of nitrogen by the end of week 3-4 in flower & started yellowing quite bad.
that also when the freak-bud colorchange happened.

will continue with the biocanna, but im not too impressed with the flowering mixture they got...will use cal-mag & feed more of the veg nutes into flower next time.

oh btw, 2nd grow.
heartidly recommend the point of no return strain, it smells & tastes so damn fruity, & i got two phenos, one small & shitty in the yields category (but smell & taste is like strawberries & whatever, + excellent high) & one larger & good yielder

peace:bigjoint:

I believe light intensity caused bleaching, but I can't tell because of your pictures have the HPS on. Also, did your leaves turn pale at the same time your bud tips lost chlorophyll ?

If I were you, I would take some of your medium (about an inch down( and test it for pH and PPM.

you would do this by taking your medium sample and saturating it with distilled water ( about a one to one ration).

Let it sit for about 10 min., while stirring occasionally.

Finally you will test it with a calibrated pH pen and test the PPM, or EC, with the appropriate meter.

there are also two things I can extract from your photos:
- look out for dead sugar leaves that have died back into the bud- they cause mold/bud rot.
- You have a heat issue- it causes "fox tailing"

Final thought,
flush the medium with three times the amount of water it takes to completely saturate the medium in the pot.
(if you are not using beneficial bacteria, or fungi, use 3 caps of store bought H2O2 per gallon of flush water to thwart the problem associated with over-watering.)

Resume your feeding scheduled, after the medium has dried out to the level where you would normally water it.

Do not get your bulb so close to your buds, and or, reduce the heat at the canopy level

Totally agree, that's light bleaching going on there. Raise your light and bring the temps of your grow room down

thanks, thats wonderful tips!
its chopping day for these babies anyways, so down they go.

will be ready to start flowering some jillybeans & plushberries by the end of next week, so by then i will buy an air cooled hood, as these are adjustawings, and as high as possible in the tent. heat, ye, figures. great stuff, thanks again the both of you:clap:

also, will do better for the next run, less heat, will use beneficial bacteria, lolliepop & supercrop om veg., and use the same soil for every plant (now they had different ones, mainly biocanna terra, terra pro & terra pro +)...which messed up my nutrient schedule quite a bit.

also i will get one of those water-suckers so i can properly flush dirty ladies, hehe. different factors make it unable for me to do that properly atm.

thankuuuu
+love for the both of you (i dunno how to give + rep, hehe)

also moon goblin, thanks for the info on soil-ph/ec checkups, but wouldnt the soil-mix-reading be influenced pH-wise by the water?
i usually just check the runoff for EC, highest its been is 1,8, usually stays at 1,6 or something. which tells me, eh, little, hehe, but from what i understand this is not extremely hot.

peyce :D

Hardly, with distilled water. In my opinion it is much more accurate than testing your run-off. Also, if you're over feeding the plants with synthetic nutrients, you will notice the tip of your leaves turning brown (tip burn).

Pure organics for me, organic organic organic :D Guess its heat, that seems very accurate.
Whewh, let me tell you, I just came out from the tent after 6 hours...everything has been clipped & hanged. Phew. Wonder if I`ll ever get that smell out of my clothes, or my nose for that matter :)

Gonna make some food, fire up the fyahplace, blaze one & go to bed. Wish I could pass you a hit MoonGoblin, I really appreciate your help.
Peace, & good night :)
