This was last year and I forgot I took some pictures to match the story.

In my backyard there was this huge yellow jacket nest in my shed . They were affecting my backyard "activities" so I decided to evict their asses. First things first: armor up. I put on my Arai motorcycle helmet, a leather motorcycle jacket, a heavy winter jacket over that, my carbon fiber riding gloves, two pairs of jeans with some long john's,Columbia Titanium boots, and of course a scarf to protect the old neck. So here I am sweating by ballz off in like 80 degree weather, scared as fuck because I hate flying insects of all kinds. I had two bottles of Yellow Jacket Killer and headed out to work....

Sprayed them bitches down and got up close and personal too! I felt like fucking Rambo Muhahahahahha!!! Got them all and did not get stung in the meantime. Probably overkill, but that's how I do things. If you're gonna go, go all out!

Correct but if even one scout was away from that nest and it comes back to the nest site that one scout can and will rebuild the whole colony if he hasn't cleaned the site it will be in the exact same place since the scent is still there.

When I take out a nest, I'll wait for dark. That way I'm assured, for the most part, that all the Yellow Jackets have returned to the nest and are in a semi-dormant state. Last year was bad for Yellow Jackets but not so much this year. You should see some of the nests we uncover when we open up telephone peds when working on dial tone. Wow! My men always carry ample cans of Wasp and Hornet Killer. Nice pics of the nest BTW. 8)

That was a big honkin nest !

We used to have trouble with those damn carpenter bees. Drilled their way right into the wood on our house, bastards. We evicted them. 2 years later their cousins moved in. Evicted once again. That time we tore off and replaced the wood they had been in. Then we sided the house. Gone for good.

I don't like things that sting !!!
