Top: Comparison of yellowing leaf to regular green leaves.
Bottom: Plant where you can see area where lots of dead leaves dropped off and other problems.
I started these plants 4 months ago from bag seed (nothing special) in Mircale Grow. I have since transplanted them into Fox Farm Ocean Forest. I was told this soil was "hot" and not to feed for another month.
Around 2.5-3 months in I started feeding with Fox Farm Grow Big at 1/8 to 1/4 strength every other watering. Brown dots (looks like polka dots) were appearing on the leaves. Even though I had only fed them a few times with extremely diluted nutes someone suggested it was nutrient burn and that I should flush. I flushed and then about a week later I started the plants on 12/12 light cycle.
A few days after changing the light cycle I started noticing a fungus gnat problem, probably because all the moisture from the flush. I've pretty much cleared up the gnats by adding a layer of perlite over the top of the soil, placing yellow sticky fly traps and watering (soil drench) with a Cedar Oil product called GoGnats. While battling with the gnats I was told to let the soil dry out completely so I have been waiting until the plants start drooping until I water them.
Since the flush I've only ever fed them twice with 1/4 concentration of Fox Farm Tiger Bloom. The problem is that the leaves towards the bottom are turning yellow then curling up, drying up and dropping off. The problem seems to be working its way up the plants. It doesn't seem like they're growing or producing flowers.
