One or two gallons thur the top, one pass with the flush, see what the ppms are if still high , give her some more , you can put a small bucket in you rez to catch a sample of the flush.

wool is good, stays a little wet, gets a little crusty.

If you stick with one thing you can get it down,all the media has its in and outs.

1200ppms is pretty hot, about 350 for light feeding.
