If your EC is 0.3 or below it is soft water. If it's 0.5 or higher you have hard water

I have absolutely no idea dude. The pen I use it just tells me 0.4 EC or 0.5 EC or whatever the reading is, it sounds like you have a different sort of pen which I have no clue about. You should be able to convert your reading into EC but I don't know how to do that. Hopefully someone with some more knowledge than me can help out
