Thanks alot was worried for a second thought i had some critters.Hi ,
before i reply , are they clones or seedlings ?
And what medium are you using ?
They look good btw ...
It's not bugs...
Thanks alot for the advice i will try this ... ive been feeding them 2 tsp of tiger bloom after other watering switching between just plain water. I heard fox farm can got hot but i will monitor of the next week my main concern was a bug infestationok ,
This is what i have learned about seedlings in soil like the brands you are using ,
Firstly,
new growth is wispy looking,
This could be 2 things,
1 Ph inbalance,
2 , and more likely they are burnt from your soil being to hot with nutes and maybe nutes you have added on top,
Mg soil is known to have months of slow feed nutes added and the seedlings can't take it and simply do not need it.
A seedling can feed itself from the nourishment it gets from its shell/seed.
I would ph some water at 6.0-6.5,let it stand for 12 hours,
Ph check again.
Use this water to flush through every seedling, drench them properly until the water runs through the drainage holes,
this should fix them, it certainly will not harm them,
give them a week and the struggling wispy new growth will start to grow normally,
Do not feed them for 1 week after flush,
this is the best action you can take and it will allow you to monitor them and evaluate again in a week without taking drastic measures,
in a week , feed at half strength,
good luck.
So just to make sure just ph some water to 6 - 6.5 and just water generously until there is enough drainage? Would this not be the same as when i just do a plain watering without nutes ? Sorry if this is a dumb question lolI can't see any signs of bug attacks ,
Use the yellow sticky tab traps to make sure , it does not hurt to take precautions ,
Now i know what you have fed them , on top of FF and MG added nutes,
i am 90% sure a clean flush will work.
The difference is you are washing the nutes out of the soil so a lot more water is needed , almost as if you are purposely overwatering,So just to make sure just ph some water to 6 - 6.5 and just water generously until there is enough drainage? Also any ideas as to what could be causing the wholes?
I just watered my plants yesterday should i wait till the next watering to flush or do it tomorrowIf you use coco instead of soil ,
there is no addded nutes , you just add your own , much cleaner also,
worth a thought =)
wait until the next watering ,I just watered my plants yesterday should i wait till the next watering to flush or do it tomorrow
