Yellow Spots on top leafs. Please help!

What''s up fellow growers? I have been a long time follower of this forum but haven't posted much, but I have a problem and thought maybe someone could help. This is my 2nd grow. I have 8 plants growing in a General Hydroponics Aeroflo20 (which I had to cut down to fit in my room). They are almost 4 weeks into Veg. I have 2 400W lights, an Active Air exhaust fan with a carbon filter attached with a passive intake. I didn't see this problem my first grow, but now I have a plant with yellow spotting on the top leaves. The only thing I did different this time was add a 400W light as I only had one before. After I added the extra light temperatures got a little too high, so I added a portable Air Conditioner and my temperatures are back in check. I didn't expect it to be leaf burn as I the lights are 13" away and the spots are not on the edges of the leaves. I don't think its nutrient burn as I am using the same formula as before. So, if anyone would have an idea what is wrong I would really appreciate your advise.

Thanks in advance!

It looks to me that it is a little under fed. Leaves are a little flat and lost of color. You didn't say what ppm's your at? Maybe the extra light is using up more ppm's? I would bet on it:lol:

My leafs are also having those same yellow spots and I am growing outdoors so I don't think its light burn either because not all my plants are affected just a few. After a while the yellow spots turn brown and makes a hole in the leaf. If you ever figure out what is the cause of the yellow spots please let me know so I can also fix my problem.

if that is only on the one plant...then my guess is it touched the light/bulb at one point , even for a second can do this...i have one on mine too...oopps, ouch...happens sometime if you lift them up into the light...they should never touch light or this will happen(like when we touch the light it will do it to us too), leaf will not total come back, just make sure that when you move em around to keep away from bulb. peace

Hi,

Did you find out what was causing the yellow spots, then the holes? I'm having exact same problem

Cheers
