Yellow Sprouts-Will They Green-Up?

High guys, today two of my beans cracked, sending a sprout above Advanced Nutrients soil. This soil is not "hot."

At 12 noon, neither of two foam cups had a sprout in them. I get home tonight, and I get these two that look like alfalfa sprouts :-( . Very yellow and no green. I just pulled them out of the dark room where I have my audio components stored. I have a 100% germination rate in this room because it is ~80*F and muggy.

I'm assuming they shot up quickly but without any light to speak of. Will these two make it? I'm a veteran grower, but 'always learning about new/different problems. I've not yet sprouted yellow babies before, so this is new to me. I really want these to survive/grow because they are single freebies from Attitude.

Thank you RIU.

You should put more dirt in the cups those stems are getting wicked long, also ya your all set once they get a little more light they should be good ;-)

They should be fine. Next time sprout them under a light. You won't have yellow babies and they will not stretch as much. What kind of light and wattage do you plan on putting them under?

Those sprouts are normal considering they sprouted in the dark, they're stretched 'cause they're reaching for light, as stated next time sprout them under lights. They will green up soon.

It might be a photo artifact, but the light seems yellow. Some blue light in the mix (cooler lamps?) should stop the stretch. But you probably know that, so I'm guessing photo artifact. cn

Thanks for the input guys, but I am not sure what some of you are observing. ---> me :-? <--- ???

I don't post here for every little thing, and as stated earlier, I really worried about these 2 sprouts because I only have one seed for each strain. Shit, I got a dozen Pineapple Express beans and a great grow in veg now, so I don't worry if those don't all grow well, or don't turn out to be the right pheno.

I have multiple successful grows from back in 2009, and I got my 411 for 420 here! Below are some of my harvest pics, plus you can see my current grow in my journal. I'm still confused....what gives?

I got a T5 and will soon be moving them to a 400W MH for further vegging.

I have a T5 as well. I filled it with aquarists' bulbs as per the "LED without LEDs" thread. Works great, and makes for magenta photos that look just like an LED grow, but for cheaper. ;) cn

Well RIU folks, you were right, the babies are greening up :weed:. I have never found a four-leaf clover, but I did grow a 3-Cotyledon seedling! :o
