Yellow Tap-Root During Germination

Hi, all! This is my first grow. DWC setup, Snow White seeds from Nirvana.
I started germinating 2 days ago using the damp paper towel in between 2 saucers method.
The roots started to come out quicker than I had expected (2 days) and are looking a little on the yellow side. I attached a pic of the seeds.
The only thing I could think of that I might have done wrong was to adjust the pH of the water that I soaked the paper towel in.
Is this normal or should I consider getting myself some new seeds?
Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I have had that happen before, but never had any ill effects from it. I had left them in the towels for a long time (like 3 days). Planted them right away and they grew fine.
