Yellowing from the bottom up.

Beat it into submission. Ya know..sometimes you need to manhandle these little fucks to get em on the right path. I’d also throw a handful of baby powder on the plant and then slap it a few times. One regular open hander for nitrogen deficiency and then 2 back handers to encourage branching. Don’t forget the baby powder. You’ll thank me later

The top couple inches will be dry and I will have to apply a quart of water every other day no matter what.
You think the plants are going to die if the top couple inches are dry? You want the top couple inches to dry out as quickly as possible, this helps prevent bugs and mold issues.

I know that. What I'm saying is the top few inches are drying. Around the roots and stem. But the bottom half of the buckets are soaking wet. That's why I only water a little bit on top twice then the third water I water till runoff but the buckets never fully dry

looks like they need a good veg feed, maybe a bit of epson salt wouldnt hurt either
I use epsom salt. Everything everyone is responding to is already been answered in my original post. Guys. If you read it. It's all there. May have a few misspelled words but its there.

Wait until the buckets are dry all the way through before watering. It will be ok if the top is dry for a few days. If the bottom is always wet, you are just going to kill your roots.

I woke up this morning and gave them a light water with npk 1-3-1 with a shot of superthrive for nitrogen. Epsom salt and mollases ph'd at 6.5

They look very hungry.... I would be feeding HEAVILY. And i would probably toss a couple cups of worm poop on top of each pot.
I have fertilizer mixed for my next grow and it has worm poop in it. I just put like 3 inches of that on top of all 6 buckets. Do you think this is enough or should I just be buying more worm poop

Yes. The pot should be the same weight as when you filled it assuming you are using store bought dirt that was just a little bit moist.
Ok. I was just worried that it was bad that the tops were so dry. I'm going to do as you say and wait until they are dry. But what if that's like 5 days from now?

Just after the stretch, I've never used this soil before, they have been flowering for 3 weeks now.
You’re good man. Feed it. It’s just used up the nitrogen in soil. Nitrogen deficiency is common due to stretch. Go ahead and give it veg nutes for a few feedings and I’m sure you’ll see some positive changes. Got to get on it now though..or next time you water is what I mean. you say you’ve never used the soil before but the plants have been in that soil for entire lifespan, correct? ALso..when I said natural light or daylight bulb..I mean take a pic by window that’s gettin decent light or put it by a daylight bulb. No need to drag it outside. Hell..even soft white lighting will give better view than hps
