yellowing from the bottom up?

my plants fan leaves are starting to yellow and eventually turn white with small brown spots on it. i dont think its a nute def. prob cause i am feeding it with a general 10-10-10 and i also mix molases and water from my small algie filled coy pond to help microlife so iduno what the deal is are these just older fan leaves dieing?

I wouldn't advise watering with that but you might have some ph issues going on, do you have any pics?

id have to find my camera. what would not advice watering with? the pond water or molasses? i figgured watering with pond water that had lots of alge and fish poop in it would kinda be like aquaponics.

With the water.. See the problem is you really don't know what's in the water and how much. Too hard to regulate what your plant is eating

i have a ph testing pen, was 15 quid from amazon, took 2 days to arrive.

Might be worth getting one,or at least as a quick fix pop to a tropical fish shop for a ph test kit to tide you over.

Hell ya I would def get a ph meter, they can save your whole crop. But that water your using might have some crazy ph level as well

i had this problem a week or two ago. it did exactly what you say yours is doing. i was told nitro def. and i gave it a feeding and it didnt work. my other plant is 4 ft away and loves it. but i ended up loosing it and i never did anything about the ph

If the plants fan leaves are yellowing from the bottom up,fan leaves first,then after fan leaves the leaves on your branches from the bottom up again your plants need Nitrogen.

It's probably whatever's in the pond water,test it's pH before doing anything else. Can you not water with tap water? Most of the time the soil can buffer tap water to the right pH with no messing about.
