So I've noticed some of my plants starting to get a yellowing around the leave edge.
(See photos )

Not all the same cultivar, but can see similar effects around it.

They get ph 5.8 water all the time.
Organic nutrients (Bio - buzz) every second watering ?

Under 600 W MH.

Temps are at a stable 28°C give or take a few depends on the day.

Please help 20190402_135953.jpg 20190402_135934.jpg 20190402_135953.jpg

Ran into the same issue with a seedling of mine, the yellowing is on all growth? How long has it been yellowing? Go for watering ph like athomegrowing suggests if soil and give it a day or two to see if the ph was the issue.

I'm a fan of the wait and see method, my own experience has taught me that jumping to adding nutrients could add more of a problem than curing what you've got. Happy growing!

Needs more nitrogen, common when using organic nutrients. Add microbes to your soil, azos and mykos. Both products are by extreme gardening and are organic microbes that help the plant get more nitrogen out of your nutrients.

Seeing some slightly opaque spots on your leaves, could be foliar feed, or could be bugs. See the kinda slimy looking spots on the 2nd and 3rd pics?

Soil?

If you're growing in soil i wouldn't drop the ph down that low. If the water is between 6.5 - 7.5 should be fine.

I'd start with a ph that's closer to neutral first. Then assess how it's progressing after a few days.

Imo be hesitant about adding magnesium at this stage. There might be plenty already there, but if the soil's too acidic it'll make magnesium less available.
Generally a magnesium deficiency will show on the bottom leaves first, then progress upwards. Which it doesn't look that way to me.

Plain water ph6.5 - 7.5, wait a few days. No improvement, try a small amount of Epsom salts as a one off, and see how it responds.

Fix that ph first. If you have a means of testing the ph of the soil itself, i'd see what it reads.

That's what i'd do if it were mine.

Good luck.

I grow pretty much organic. Pretty much. Lol. Chicken shit is a main component. Never have nitrogen issues

Organic fert. and some assume soil...pH of 5.8 and some assume coco / hydro. The devil is in the details and since none of us know what the details are, we're all giving good answers if....get my drift? A little information goes a long way in people helping you out.

My two cents...you're short on Mg. Spray or feed some epsom salt and you'll find out real quick.

Add lime to your mix and forget about ph is a good idea. Everyone messin with meters and and ph up and down and all this and they still get all the issues. I haven’t had an uptake issue in years. It just doesn’t happen anymore. Not sure why some people are so scared of lime and eliminating a problem in soil grows

Hi guys

Thanks for all the replys.

Running 3ml grow and 1ml bloom per litre ( Bio- Bizz) every second watering.

I'll adjust the Ph to a more neutral of 6.8 to 7. Maby even leaving the adjustment in total.
I'll give a clean natural water and see what is happening.

If it doesn't improve I'll add some nitrogen though epson salts

Next time add pulverized dolomite lime to your mix and you won’t have to keep up with the ph nonsense. Chasing the ph is totally unnecessary and becomes too much of a problem and concern. Lime it. Actually..what is your soil mix? You’re probably not going to change ph anytime soon with the water going into the pot. What’s your medium?

Feed it more. Dont worry about these fiddly little adjustments.. looks like it's getting big and wants more food. This is how mine looked every time before I had to up my nute levels as I like to keep them on the low side. IncreadI feed by say 10% and you'll be green again in 4 days max
