Yellowing Sativa

Hi Guys

Just wondering what you guys do when flowering a sativa that takes well over 14 weeks to finish. My fan leaves turn yellow and fall off. Would it be any good to add a little N to a long time flowering plant like that? - or is it ok for those fan leaves to just fall off. My buds become nice and big - just wished those extra leaves were still on it :leaf:

Let em fall as long as its not too soon. If you could harvest them with no leaves that would about be ideal. You are correct about the N...keep it in the feed a week or two longer

to keep em green....

about according to some...you will get a danker crop if the plant is full of life when it's harvested

Always allow your leafs to drop off if you can. Much better for the plant as long as there is no pest or disease on them. Lot's of sativa's lose there leafs way early in 12/12. My SLH lost her leafs and still had 3 weeks left. No worries.

Hi Guys
Thank you for the info. I agree that it sounds reasonable that the more solar panels we have the more/better the bud will be. But yes - my Jack Herer haze pheno almost has no fan leaves left by harvest time. Other than that the plants are very healthy and the fan leave drop looks like a regular fall thing we see from growing outdoors.
