Hey whats up guys im trying to narrow done whats causing these yellowing spots on the leafs .
ive tried flushing with phed 6.0 water and clearex and running less nutrients but still getting yellowing spots on some leafs. in using gh flora micro and bloom altered head formula 3/6 per gallon and armour si 4ml per gallon i was using calimagic but noticed a nitrogen toxicity so i stopped it with last res change about a week ago. growing in motherearth coco/perlite 70/30 mix ph 5.8-6.0 with ph usually closer to 6.0 also using ro water under 600w mh temps are 75f and 55-57 humidity, and drain to waste watering 3 times a day for a minute each watering . and info or advice would be much appreciated thanks guys ✌ also ec is at .8

Not a coco grower but know enough that RO water requires cal mag for damned sure. Cut back on the Grow from your GH trio if you have signs of nitrogen toxicity before stopping the Calimagic. Raised leaf edges say heat stress rather than too much light considering your light. Have you measured the temperature at canopy and is there adequate air flow?

As hot rod said you need the cal/mag in coco especially with RO water. I would cut back on everything but the base nutrients. I grow this style often and use flora nova bloom and cal/mag with no issues. I only run 1ml cal mag because I mix tap and spring water.
I just started using maxi bloom only with nothing else and it’s working great so I suspect it’s a lack of cal/mag or one of the additives. Not sure exactly what you mean by altered head formula but I think you mean 3ml micro to 6ml bloom if so that sounds about right and similar to Lucas formula.
the plants don’t look to bad so I don’t think you have a major issue yet but better to catch it early

Also what size pots are you running? In veg you can get away with only one watering per day if they are 3gal or bigger. Then come flower I would ramp up to 3 times per lights on. I personally think anything over 3gal is a waste of coco and space but if you plan on a long veg then you may need bigger than 3gal but I’ve seen some big plants in small pots of coco before

thanks for the info harley greatly appreciated. im running a altered head formula so im just using micro and bloom no grow …using micro 3ml per gallon and bloom at 6ml per gallon my temp and humidity sensor is postition right at the top of my canopy ill post pick of day time temps there at 75 and 57 daytime temps also ill try running a lower dose of calimagic instead of giving it up entirely and see what happens thanks for the info. also running 2 gallon pots

thank u for the info also trees!…yeah sorry i meant altered head formula cause the original head formula is 6ml micro and 9 ml of bloom per gallon i was reading another post that spoke of the nitrogen toxicity using the head formula with calmag and he was saying he bumped it down to 3ml of micro and 6ml of bloom and ditched the calmag and was getting better results so i was trying it out for myself. i just recently stopped the calimagic last rez change about a week ago but i was using 4ml per gallon when i was using it so maybe i will add back the calimagic at maybe 2ml per gallon?

I use the cal/mag at 1ml per gal and some Epsom salt about a pinch when I was using the Flora Nova Bloom with great results. The only reason I stopped using the FNB was it’s so dirty in a res and the maxi bloom has the added cal & mag in it so I was able to cut it out with the maxi. What you’re using should be fine I would stick with the 3/6ml of micro & bloom and add back 1-2ml cal mag. I don’t bother with silica much I do have it but don’t really use it since I’m not trying to grow monster plants anymore I keep them smaller these days with short veg time
