Yesterday's Mass Shooting.

A few years back I worked at a place that had a family of honkers make the pond their summer home. The goslings were cute, but I gave’m all a respectful berth. Mom and dad had that real jailhouse swagger, and the sounds they made got students’ faces out of their phones real quick if they didnt want a big bruise.
You should try taking a golf shot without moving the ball.

Ain't gonna happen. It's a gimme.

Alex is squirming, he did it all for money and now he is gonna lose all the money. Too bad they couldn't sentence him to a kick in the nuts too.

'He was visibly unnerved': Families want $150M from Alex Jones
37,253 views Jul 27, 2022 The lawyer for two Sandy Hook families that have sued right-wing conspiracy theorist Alex Jones asked a jury to award his clients $150 million in damages in a trial to determine how much money they receive.

Mark Bankston, the attorney for the plaintiffs, said the $150 million figure amounted to $1 for each person who believes false information about the Sandy Hook shooting pushed by Jones, which he argued is about 75 million. The additional $75 million would compensate the parents for the emotional and mental anguish they've endured over the last decade due to harassment from Jones and his followers.

It's not Biden, it's congress, they need to work for a democratic candidates at all levels, local, state and federal. I imagine most of them will get around to it and work for change during election season. Biden can't do much by himself except get impeached by a republican congress over nothing.

So all these second amendment gun nuts are really communists! Figures, nobody who really believes in true freedom believes owning a gun insures it, it just makes folks prisoners of fear. Being fear driven is what drives people to buy guns, more guts, less guns. As for fighting for liberty, a car is far more useful than a gun and ya gotta register and insure it, as well as be licensed to drive it.

The second amendment was created so the state could not only draft you, but your gun as well! Sounds like communism to me.
I own lots of guns and have a ccw with me every where I go. Its my choice to defend my family and myself. I do I legally, which the criminals do not. It's not that your a nut defending yourself. You just going to hope for the best if confronted by a thug?

Afraid? Of?

The need for defense reveals fear as a motive. That's not necessarily a bad thing, provided the threat is real and not imagined, I mean we feel fear to survive. When you consider that the weapon will most likely be used against yourself or a family member personal safety becomes a factor. Another factor is most gun killings are suicides by the owner (54% I recall) or a family member and this appears to reveal another aspect of those who choose to own guns. Also people in rural areas feel differently about guns than those in urban areas, where it's harder to miss someone. Most don't worry about those hunting in the woods, just those hunting on the streets.

Sensible gun laws and taking them from nuts, criminals and terrorists would help to protect all responsible gun owners and most are in favor of these measures. You don't need a weapon that holds any more than 5 rounds to hunt with or you shouldn't be hunting or loose in the woods. Assault style military weapons use big mags that can be rapidly swapped out, reloading a weapon without a removable mag makes mass shooters vulnerable, so does cocking then shooting.

It's not to hunt with. I disagree with your opinion. Yes I do have weapons for hunting, and some for self defense. It's my god given right to protect myself from great bodily harm or death. You just happen to choose death.

Snakes, don't like them. Not afraid of thugs, they are just from bad areas of town going to nice parts if town and hijacking cars and killing for no reason. It's getting closer to home. I see the police reports and its a crime that is rising. So I chose to carry, just in case but hopefully never have to use it.
