Yet another Fox Farm Question + Rep

Ok so 3 of my plants showing sex aka pre flowering.

Im using a all fox farm line up. Excluding the open seasame.
I rushed out and bought some Tiger Bloom but looking at the bottle Im a bit worried. The bottle reads its formulated with a low PH to maintain stability in storage and keep micronutrients available.

I dont have the money for a good ph tester until i harvest. so Im using two cheap ones I found at Lowes.

http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?action=productDetail&productId=251966-83666-1240&lpage=none this tester always shows 7 I think its a peice of shit but pretty accurate with the moisture although I still use the lift method.

This other ph tester http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00134UQEC
usually reads a ph of 6 but have seen it go down and up.

So here is my question for any fox farm users or anyone with knowledge. Do I need to raise the ph level before feeding them Tiger Bloom as the bottle says. Or will this regulate back to normal ph after a day? I dont want nute lock out and since im using crappy testers at the moment Im worried of this. So far everything has been fine. But its a little late in the game to start messing up now.

Next question if I do need to raise the ph before feeding the product what should I use to stay organic and will show results right away. I looked into earth juice natural up. Any other suggestions?

Thanks for reading my essay and help will greatly be appreciated and will give rep to those that try.:blsmoke:

I use all the FF lines also. And with fox farm Grow Big (veg) if I set my ph first to 6.5 then add 1 tsp Grow Big to a gallon of water, it drops to 5.0

Def need to adjust it. To about 6.5.
Only foxfarms soils and big bud are 100% organic.
So what should I use to raise the ph right away. Lime only works with time I thought same with oyster shells ect. Anything liquid? I heard baking soda but scared to use cause im sure salt will build up even more over time. I want a good product with good results.

Well i went with earthjuice ph up only problem is there is no directions on how much it takes to raise the ph .05 like most ph buffers i have seen. My meter is shit so im kinda screwed unless i get a post back in regards how much to use per gallon. Thanks for the help anyways.

Between your rude + rep and the last smart ass comments.
I will not be helping you any more.
Your lucky you got a response at all.
Considering there are dozens upon dozens of the same damn question.
Its a real easy answer. I hope you find it.

I use FF. Add you tiger bloom as directed. I would start with 1 tsp per gal. Then adjust you ph to around 6.5 for soil and 5.8 for hydro.

Im s.o.l due to crappy ph tester. I will have to make a investment in a better tester down the road in the mean time I will have to suffer nute lock seeing Earth juice natural ph up doesnt have any instructions on how much of the product is used and how much it will raise. First grow wont be the best but Ill get past that learning curve.

You cant really go by what the labels on ph adjusters say anyways. Just a basic starting point. The amounts needed depends on many buffering factors. Just remember. If you ph up too much, then just start over. Do not try and use ph down to lower. Causes tons of issues. And vise-versa.

i use the whole line of fox farm nutes as well as advanced nutrients ph up and ph down...

i let my tap water sit out for a week b4 using and the ph is usually around 8. i then add my fox farm nutes and about 2-5 drops of ph down to bring the ph level to about 6.5 because i grow in soil

I collect rain water for feeding. I tested my rain water and it shows neutral. So I added Earth Juice natural up just to see. Well my meter shows after adding ph up that the ph went down to 6. Wich makes no sense to me. Either My ph meter is worthless or they packed the wrong stuff in a bottle. I think its the meter!
