And now for the problems!
1. List in order of most intense to least intense.
2. List in order of highest color temperature to least color temperature.

Bonus(for the real experts):
3. Specify the lumen output, and color temperature for each letter.
4. Specify which one is actually 7 light sources superimposed with varying intensities and color temperatures.

For reference the room is 2'x4'x6'.

Can't wait to see who really knows their lighting!

Good luck & have fun.

All this can really show me is which of these boxes produces "white" on my monitor the best. I can see more spectrums of light with eyes than a plant can uses with it's leaves. I don't want you to feel like I'm attacking you, I want CFL's to work for the obvious reasons that you enjoy them. They are cooler running, work in small spaces and are cheaper.

I'm just failing to see where these pictures provide any relevance, but the brightest on my monitor is "D". Only because it's the whitest, it's about the same "brightness" as the background white on this website.

You'll have trouble getting correct answers out of people as different monitors are calibrated for different color temperatures, gamma, brightness, contrast, etc.
For instance 'B' might look very red on my laptop but greenish on my desktop ...which is indeed the case.

1. D, A, E, C, B
2. C, D, A, E, B
3. too much effort required
4. D

I'm guessing this is CFL propoganda? Right on.

Precisely. For this to be a valid test, TeaTreeOil, you're going to have to provide an .ICC or .CSF file that we could all use in order to synchronize our OS color information with yours.
Otherwise we're all looking at very different images.

The ICC profile is definitely there. I just checked. I was actually thinking you might have a point and that imageshack removed the ICC profile, as it sometimes resamples(lowers quality) on images.

I put plenty of thought into this. You have yet to point out a single flaw... besides your own.

mmmmm.....see that's nice.

TeaTree you don't provide any real context for all these drawings and animations.....it's a bunch of nearly black and white photos that REPRESENT something presumably, but from here we can't tell what exactly you are trying to get across.

Damn, Chachie! Plenty of thought? So if I didn't tell you that you should distribute an ICC profile, you would have realized that without it your test was useless, all on your own?
Look, you obviously have missed the part where your image will be rendered differently on different monitors. Thereby rendering your test completely useless.
Just forget the dumb tests. Your wasting your time.
Actually, never mind. Don't forget them. There's nothing good on TV today and watching you fail time and time again is pure entertainment.

btw i've seen thunderkuls/mrbombdiggity's... i've seen nursefraudblueskirt's... i know CFLS can grow plants

I just want to see what kind of quality a person of your apptitude gets from CFLs.... must be spectacular the way you defend them to the bone. Which is respectable. Just show me why... thanks
