Yet another LST question.

Hey, new to this part of the forum as i'm about to try and up my growing game.
i grow in RDWC, Rather successfully so looking to try a bit of LST as i'm about to grow a sativa dominant strain.

I wasnt planning to do much LST, was going to just tie it down once... to the end of the bucket and then let it grow vertically.... my questions are....

1) Once the plant has reached the tie down point and started to grow vertically again.. at this point do i top/fim...... or do i change to flower.

2) Will it benefit me enough to spend the time tieing each plant down just once or realistically do i need to LST multiple times.

a lot of great tutorials and photos/threads etc so i think i'm ready to give it ago... just a bit of fine tuning would help from you guys.

To get the most tops, you tie down and then as it grows longer continue to tie down. Hopefully that makes sense.

i understand what to do, just wondered if one initial bend would be sufficient

depends on the size of your plant and the size of your room

yes i let my sativa dominant plants way out of hand ,i have had to tie these bitches down 3 time now ,topping and tieing is always a good thing.i topped every 3 nodes for more bud sites and like i said tie them down 3 times ,mine are 4 ft tall and 3 ft round and taking over my room ,if you got the height in your room let them go but those bitches are notourise for growing threw the roof ,i expect another 1 ft to 1 1/2 foot in flower ,put mine in flower 1 week ago ,defoliated the girls when i did and they have not slowed down yet ,climbing to the sky and looking good ,should be good smoke ,hope my experience helps you and good luck

thanks for the reply man.

My room is quiet congested but at the same time it isnt.... i have about 1.8m of actual growing space (excluding buckets and lights) so suppose i could let them grow a bit.... tbh i'm more looking at using LST to increase yield.

I think ill tie down just once at the start, that way it gives the side branches a fight change also.
