Yield based on size.

This plant is almost 2 months old, I was thinking of flowering it here soon. I was looking for some prior experience. If anyone has changed it over at this point or if I should wait a little longer. Thank you In advance

my first grow looked a bit like that plant i flipped at 33 inches tall it grew to 48 under 400 watt hps and yielded about 3 ounces. since then i learned to top and grow monster clones and bought bigger lights now i yield about 6 to 8 ounces per plant

Why havnt you topped it? 5th node up, cut that bish... make it bushier.

In case the stem snaps on you, wrap it with a scotch tape ;), I did it a couple of days ago and all is well :weed:
Electrical tape works better because it's stretchy so it doesn't restrict the growth of the plant and is easy to take back off. Plumbers tape is even better because there's no adhesive.

I’m new and just fimmed my first plant, but shouldn’t it have split into multiple branches wherever you cut it?

It looks like one main to me in the picture but idk.

So Fimming shouldn’t stop the growth of the plant up because you don’t remove the full top. You take about 75-80%. I actually fimmed it first and then noticed I was gonna need some space, so I topped it (removing the whole top). Here is a picture of it after the topping a couple weeks ago, you can see the 2 mains coming out. Then I bent it over.

If it were me, I'd pull the trigger. I get the feeling this is kind of a trial run and super filling the tent would take a few more weeks - which I have the impression you don't want to wait. Flip and be ready to support those reachy out branches.

It's super pretty and looks like strong stems, btw.
