It's a good thing to acknowledge. I'm rather new on RIU and didn't had the time to look upon other journals. Indeed i saw her lacking some magnesium while i'm sure i provided her with plenty, so this may be the reason. Still it's too late for regrets, and i got plenty of babies to compensate. Thank you for your info! You think i shouldn't defoliate at all during flowering stage?

there's a link in my signature to several of my grows, I show/tell everything we do in a season to get plants like this......have you read them?....you could try doing some research as to what I have done differently than you. However I will add that there is an old saying "garbage in = garbage out". You shouldn't expect top shelf results without investing in it. Best of luck to you I hope you figure it out...

No offense but you do not need smart pots or greenhouses or some designer dirt or nutrients. What you need is a basic understanding of botany, and the willingness to learn, experiment, fail and try again.

You experimented too hard on that girl and that was a mistake. But you will learn and hopefully do better.

And no I'm not trying to be a show off but these are grown in composted manure (no dirt) and the boxes I made myself out of old wood laying around and the sides are window screen. You dont have to spend a lot of money to have a kicking grow...and trust me when I said I GOT DIRTY! received_925405857634574.jpeg received_1694837713978592.jpeg

So there is no reason you cant do better next yr. But I have to agree with the majority. I'm guessing between 4 and 7 oz probably at most.

And btw...when someone says about a pound (that is always the answer people give no matter what the plant looks like..they are not being serious)
 
Some of us have to do a little extra defoliating because of high humid levels in flower outdoor. I keep mine nice and airy in order to not promote bud rot and have good air flow. They still look very full but I am constantly taking off larger fan leaves and lower branching etc... if I was in Arizona then I wouldn’t have to be as concerned...

I also experimented with defoliation with the goal of increasing light penetration to the bud sights coz my plant was super bushy (first grow last year) and it definitely did more harm than good. The secret lies in low stress training early on in order to allow the plant to develop sideways with gaps for sunlight rather than straight up like a christmas tree. Also, in veg phase before flowering, prune the lower leaves and branches that are hidden away in amongst the other branches as these waste energy and block sunlight for the more important bud sites! But this should only be done earlier on when the plant is still vegging out
