You Don't Want To Do This

You do not want to eat an Edible before Bed knowing in a couple hours you will need to pee.

You get up. Walking backwards be strong go that way.

You notice the walls are set to where you can use them to hold you up.

Use the door facing to turn you into the bathroom. Where did the Toilet go? Turn around oh there it is.

I used to have that problem then I started using a bunch of different supplements like zinc so I now sleep all night without having to get up to go pee two hours later. Used to be every half hour and I was walking around sleep deprived all f'n day. I take a dose of hi-CBD RSO pretty much every evening too.

After a couple cups of coffee in the morning is when I end up running to the head more often but I ain't giving up my caffeine!

That sounds nasty. My urologist bugged me for 3 years to travel down to the big city 5 hours away to get a hi-rez MRI of my prostate and also kept pushing for a biopsy even tho the 3 regular MRIs I'd already had didn't show anything amiss. I finally went down early Dec last year and the f'er still hasn't contacted me about the results. Out of 5 levels with 1 being the best I was rated 2 which proved what I thought that there was no reason to get a biopsy. At my age, 68, it's very likely I have a slow growing cancer in there but I'll more likely die of something else before it causes any problems. Once they start poking around in there more unneeded treatments ensue so I'm not having none of that BS.

Over 95% of prostate cancers will not progress to life threatening status but doctors, especially in the US, use any abnormality as an excuse to rip out men's prostates which leads to a lifetime of misery. Billion dollar clinics are being built all over the states to do just that. Follow the money!

On the medical papers he sent me to take for the scan it said as Reason for scan: REFUSED BIOPSY when it was a scheduled scan as part of the Watchful Waiting protocol we had agreed on. F'er just wanted to get in there and cut something.

After said and done I could have went different.

I can no longer do anything with it. I can't control peeing. Taking Hormone Shots and I have no interest.

I was passing Blood so had to spend two hours in Decompression each day. They couldn't let me out even if I pooped.

I messed one Arm up where I no longer have use of it.

I'm very hard hearing even with Hearing Aids.

Got one Leg messed up they wanted to amputate years ago.

Then there is the gloom and doom guy.

I'm happy one of these days I won't have anything to worry about in this world are spend eternity of leisure with Jesus.

Always look on the bright side. Was in the woods with some guys. Had to change underwear. Couple of women drove up. I continued.

Told the guys if them gals hadn't seen an old man's naked butt before they got a real treat.

Here's what I think. Doctors get up in the morning to make money. Sorry, not to 'save' people but to MAKE MONEY. So doctor worship won't help you. I recently was told by my cardiologist that everything was fine. But he scheduled me for some 'procedure' where they go kill some muscle in my heart. Why? He said "just in case"- cost? ONLY $27,000. Why?? I suspect a Tahitian vacation was the real reason. Don't worship doctors.

Makes me wonder I had my Prostate removed. Didn't get all the Cancer so had several Radiation Treatments.

Started passing Blood. Well I have to have my Pro Time done once a month. Everything was messed up but I had Unknown Doctor prescribed Medication for Gout. I'm thinking it thinned my blood down too much I felt like I was going to Dye. Oh it is because of Radiation so we have to put you in Decompression Chamber every day for 30 days. In other words be locked in a Tube for 2 hours each day, they give you a Bottle of water and Urinal and lock you in.

Now my PSA is up so they are giving me Hormone Shots. Oh fun Hot Flashes and my own Boobs.

Who said anything about worshipping doctors? I'm Canadian so none of this stuff costs me anything tho the doc does get paid a bunch for any procedures he performs of course.

Some drugs are out of pocket but I'm not on any pharma drugs so not costing me anything there either. When I have a dental or doctor appt out of my area I get a note saying I showed up and even get gas, food and hotel money if I need an overnight stay. An emergency appendectomy I had a few years ago took 3 ambulance rides and a week in the hospital on IV antibiotics. My bill : $0.00.

What's the difference between God and a doctor? God doesn't think he's a doctor. :)

Sounds like they gave you the full monty and really screwed you over. I don't think gout medication thins your blood but not a doctor so not sure. It helps remove uric acid which is what crystallizes in the joints and causes the pain from gout. I just googled gout and none of the medications cite blood thinning as a side effect. Kidney stones tho and after having one of those that scares the fug out of me. Damn that hurt!

For any of you guys out there with prostate issues I suggest reading The Whole Life Prostate Book: Everything That Every Man-at Every Age-Needs to Know About Maintaining Optimal Prostate Health. And The Great Prostate Hoax: How Big Medicine Hijacked the PSA Test and Caused a Public Health Disaster by Richard J. Ablin who came up with the PSA test in 1970. I got both at the local library.

Almost all men experience prostate enlargement as they age and as the prostate gets bigger your PSA goes up. That does not mean you have cancer! But it could so don't ignore symptoms like my late buddy did. He had told me about issues he was having and I told him to see his doc but he kept putting it off. When he finally got a PSA test it was over 80 and he was already stage 4. He passed a month ago.

I was on Lasix for years because of swelling and sores that wouldn't heal. Because of the Lasixs I was on several other medications.

I asked my Doctor at the time what about cutting back on my Salt? I really liked it. She said we will try. Got off of Lasix and bunch of other medications.

I was drinking Whiskey and dipping SKAOL. Started throwing up pieces of my Esophagus. Went to a Specialist who said I was very close to Throat Cancer. I quit most the Whiskey and all the SKAOL. They prescribed ZANTAC every day.

Then I had a Tick give bad infection and had to be Hospitalized over it.

They tried taking me off Blood Thinners but immediately got Blood Clots again so they put me back on Blood Thinners.

Then had to have my Gallbladder removed. Almost died several times but the one that operated stayed with me from Noon until 5:30 in the morning keeping me alive. Then Insurance tried kicking me out. Then I tried dieing again. Maybe we better not send him home.

I was on Hydrocodone 3X a day. I fell and put my Shoulder around to my Spine. They couldn't give me anything for pain because of the Hydrocodone. They tried but it didn't do any good.

I was operated on but they couldn't fix it. I have use from the Elbow down but can't raise it.

Then the Prostate Cancer. They took my Prostate out. I couldn't control my Peeing, can not get an erection, can't ejaculate.

They put a Valve in great I can wear my Boxers. Wrong! I would pee myself highly embarrassing.

Had Gout my regular Doctor prescribed some Medication to clear it up no problem. Got Gout again had a Substitute Doctor prescribed some Medication that I had never taken before. I started passing Blood and feeling bad and like I said my Pro Time was messed up.

Oh it's because of the Radiation. Sent me to another Substitute Doctor that tried putting a Scope in my Penis without opening my Valve. Oh great now I'm passing Blood and have Blood Clots.

They decided to put me in a Decompression Chamber for two hours each day. Got it cleared up.

Got bad Arthritis Doctor said because I'm on Blood Thinners all he could do is prescribed more Hydrocodone.

Now because my PSA went up I'm now taking Hormone Shots. Great have Hot Flashes and getting Boobs.

Been doing Edibles and smoking some. Yes it helps with the pain but get a nice buzz. My Doctor said he is not going to get into Politics. And it does cut back on the Hydrocodone.

I know it could be much worse. Know few with an Arm missing. Know one guy that no longer has a Penis because he fell in a Corn Chopper.

Holy crap man! I guess I don't have a lot to complain about compared to that list. Arthritis is screwing up my left hand at the wrist pretty bad and pain in all my joints all the time but still get around pretty good compared to many other 68 year olds I know. Most of them are seriously overweight too and that doesn't help. I'm only 140lbs so a lot less wear and tear on my lower joints. My self-medicating with CBD and various vitamins and mineral supplements has my prostate issues down to a minor annoyance and all systems are go down there. Since the wife went thru menopause 7 years ago I got no place to stick that thing which is another annoyance so time to find a female fishing buddy with benefits or take matters into my own hands. ;)

I seem to have found a method to deal with my gut issues making sure to get extra fiber with Metamucil and other supplements like that so that's workable. No heart issues, low blood pressure slightly elevated cholesterol, (according to docs who want to put me on meds even tho the FDA now claims higher cholesterol is good for the brain in older folks).

Other issues are self induced like lack of exercise letting me get in lousy shape and muscle wasting. Mild COPD from smoking cigs for over 50 years and that should be going soon. The wife and I have both been cutting down in preparation to quit and the day draws near.

My birth mother died of dementia at 75 after being diagnosed at 65 but i'm not seeing that show up yet so hoping I'll dodge that bullet. MAiD, Medical Assistance in Dying, doesn't cover that very well here yet as you have to be able to sign off before they kill you and if you have serious brain rot that won't work. I'm hoping you can designate someone to pull your plug for you if it comes to that. The wife had no problem telling the docs to follow our friend's wishes when he passed a month ago so she'd be good for that and I won't have to put the burden on my son.

One thing I have a problem with @Oldguyrealy is if they removed your prostate completely then you should have zero PSA so why does it still come up? I'd be talking to your urologist about that. My late buddy never had his prostate removed but was taking meds that brought his PSA down to zero so if yours is gone it should be zero as well. Something is off there.

I sure hope some things turn around for you.
