Hi all!!
Im on my first grow, using coco and perlite mix with canna nutes. Everything seems to be going well and have not had any issues, I have been vegging my two largest ladies for about three weeks. Currently concentrating on two strains, White Widow and Northern Lights x Skunk, however, due to my excitement at seeing my seedlings sprouting from the earth I had to throw in my freebies too! Now I have a few extra strains, just because!
On to my main question, lighting!
I am currently putting my seedling and vegging ladies under one light, the two tube version:
Mother Plant Lights - Exolux Bright-Wing Clone Lighting | Growell
This states on the instructions (which are available on the website) that it is to be kept 30 cm from mature plants of at least a foot of growth.
My ladies are not a foot and I have been keeping them about 3-4 inches below the lights using the "If my hand is okay, the plants are okay" technique. Could this be the reason why my plants are quite short and stubby? Would it be advised to listen to the instructions or just continue with what im doing?
All responses very much appreciated. Here are some pics of the grow just so you can get an idea, sorry about the quality, I was using my phone. I am planning on having two rooms and flowering with a 600w HPS.
Thanks again EVERYBODY!!
