Hey guys!

What we have here is a 15 day old Sour Diesel clone that was transplanted from a hydro cloning bed to FoxFarm/roots Organic/Verm/Perlite soil 5 days ago. She had great roots at the time 6-8 inches or so. Shes growing strong but a couple issues are starting to arise.. I'd love if somebody could have a quick look..

Shes sitting around 80f/45%h.. Nestled a few inches (moved them out some when this started) from an array of cfl from 2700-6500k (80% 5000k.. just filling out the spectrum a little with the rest).. around 6000-6500 lumens.
Drinking distilled water with 1drop SuperThrive p/g

It seemed pretty clear from the transplant she had some initial shock.. and likely a little nute burn from the FoxFarms.. Are we looking at heat stress/burn? Maybe along with nute burn? It seems awful early in the soil to be seeing deficiency, but from what I'm reading is CalMag a potential issue? Thanks for taking the time.. I'd be lost without the experienced members of this forum.

It's tough to tell from pics but do you have lot's of tiny dots of discoloration on your leaves, or is it just the picture? If it is spots check the underside of the leaves for spider mites.

The cloning process definitely stresses the plant. The big water leaves are really just a drain to the plant when it's that little. I usually just cut those leaves off, or at least trim the tips until it's a little bigger, then I cut them off. Your new growth looks healthy to me. If the little bit of brown bothers you just nip it off, but I think she'll bounce back just fine. Don't give her too much either. Water is usually just fine for a week at least, then ease into feedings.

I think your right the fox farms burned them a bit . Ive seen way worse from just ph fluctuation from rockwool to soil in mine. I dont think its cal mag def doing the burn... Maybe the specs you see. They will be fine and when they start taking off you wont have to worry in my opinion. Ive always had good luck even if the clones had a little burn or def from all the changing and what not. Might not hurt to add some cal mag if you gott . Good luck and i think you should wait and see how the new growth goes before you go too wild. Im betting your gonna be fine.

Wouldnt hurt i throw it in my foiliar spray when in doubt. I think it would be creeping in from your edges and slowly dramatically yellowing with no burn if it was cal mag. Zinc def. Can yellow leaves with burned ends but i highly doubt that and your new growth would be losing color . Watch the new growth for your next move.

yeah, i imagine you're right.. my (overzealous) thinking goes:
happy clone>transplanted and nute burned (though not too severely)>leads to Mag def..

I'm seeing a little purp in the branch stems as well.. plus SD is known (i believe) to be a CalMag hog... and FoxFarms (again.. I believe) is kinda known for slacking in the CalMag dept with their goods.. This is of course all coming from from over attention to the plant.. which is why you guys responding is the so rad :D.. because I'll Google around all day and end up overdoing it without some expert help

It seems like Cal lockout, bugs. Adding magnesium and calcium together is better as more mag will further inhibit calcium deficiency.
