Your 1st time

I think I was 15 or 16 and won a $10 chunk of hash in a poker game. I found one of my dad's tobacco pipes and took a few hits- and coughed like crazy. I didn't smoke again until I was in my early 20's, 35 years ago.

4 years ago. It was 2 months after my operation and the percs were making me feel like shit. Friend told me about weed, I said I didnt want to fuck up my mind, he told me it didnt cause brain damage or lung cancer, I looked it up, found out here was right, started smoking a couple of days later and dropped the percs.

Been vaping now, usually when I cant sleep or I have nothing to do and im bored.

Early 60's, an once was $12 then and you could buy a kilo for $100, probably mexican, sometimes panama red, arcapulco gold, and somthing called purple, 'course who knows what it was then, then I found hash and fell in love with it, lsd was just starting to get popular, my first was "white lightning"
it was a beautiful trip.

I was 14 and one of my friends had given me two joints at school. Parents were going out to dinner that night so I thought I would give it a shot. Sparked up the first joint and sucked it down in no time. I really didn't feel much so I lit up the second joint and puffed through that one. This was over a 20 minute period.

I went to stand up and something made me sit right back down immediatley. I was stoned as fuck. No concept of time, I was getting worried about my parents coming home, I was disoriented. Well, my folks get home and I'm hunckered down in my bedroom acting like I was sick and they left me alone.

The next day I was officially a stoner. At school the next day we bailed after 3rd period to hotbox my friend's car and have a killer surf session. Almost 30 years later all of those guys are still tokin on a daily basis. I miss the 80's.

From that day on I have been in love with weed!

Back in the early 70's Red Lebanese Hash was only 25 bucks a quarter oz. I was at Woodstock '69 and bought a gram of red Lebanese hash AND a brass hash pipe for seven bucks.

It's nice to see us old stoners still alive and kicking on here.....an amazing feat considering our moto "so may braincells...so little time".

Between smoking some of the worst weed ever created, sniffing "locker-room", too much coke in the 1980's, taking REAL LSD, taking not-so-real LSD, drinking just about anything with alcohol in it, mescaline, mushrooms, peyote, smoking some of the best weed ever created, getting caught being naked in some weird places, and the list goes on and on, we've done pretty good to get this far.

And here we are.....growing weed we had only dreamed of 30 years ago. While we no longer have "free love"....we certainly have stuck with "sex, drugs, and rock 'n roll" although the sex is much less frequent...and the "free love" is the reason many of you 40 year old's are here.

Speaking of Red Lebanese Hash, I once bought a gram of hash called "Napalese Temple Balls" I smoked a few hits and on the drive home from work I started to halucinate, man what smoke that was, I'd give anything to have that again, and yes, some of us old timers are still going strong.

Someone got there years mixed up. Bought hash in 70s went to Woodstock with it . Now how is this possible?Woodstock was in 69

Hmmmmm, 16 years old, went up the mountain with a mate. Was a fat blunt of good Swazi reefer. I'd toked before but not much effect was felt, this time it was different. Reality imploded on itself, everything was coming at me as if it was a movie but tons of frames were missing, all jaggeddy, time lost all meaning I was seriously off my face...
Remember the drive down in my mate's car, he wasn't as wasted as I am or I fucking hope not. Music was surreal to listen to, a once-in-a-lifetime trip that was.
Proceeded to pass out comatose on his mom's couch till the next day.

Hahahaha yeah man, Temple Balls are Nepalese Charas with some opium mixed in. Kicks your ass propa.

Good clean PROPER Charas is the king of smokes. What sets it apart from normal hash is the crystal is rubbed off a LIVE cannabis plant. The best is incredibly rare and almost NEVER for sale outside India. It takes YEARS to learn how to make 'cream' man. The best is made by old ladies, the worst (jungle) Charas is made by children. Experienced rubbers can get about 3-5 grams of cream a day MAX...

God bless my Israeli friends for showing me that stuff... I miss it so much nobody in my house is allowed to say the 'Ch'-word...

A hundred dollars is about 750 SAR. You can get a kilo of bushweed (buds not jigs) for that price over here mate.

Too bad abt not getting it, I really liked that shit, oh well at least I have fond memories of it, maybe someday, who knows, 'course I'll be long gone by then, thanks for the info.

a lid is about 3/4 of an Oz or 3 fingers across the bottom of a sandwich bag! i love the 70s they were great.

The first time I smoked I was drunk and went to the park late at night with my twin sister. I asked this random guy who was playing basketball if he had weed and he let me smoke a couple of times. I don't think I smoked much at all. haha I was stupid but it's funny remembering. I don't think I even got high, It's all kinda blank after that... to much alcohol. But my real first time was a couple of days ago. I snuck out to hang out with this guy who I've been talking to and we smoked a blunt in his car. I remember feeling a little and my heart started beating faster and I started laughing but then it kinda faded or something. I'm pretty sure if I had taken one more hit, it would've done it. I have no idea xD. But I'm kinda glad I didn't get to high cause I feel like I would've felt embarrassed if I acted like a moron... But yeah, I'm just really excited to smoke again and actually get really high. ;D

Well, if you're into travelling, the Parvati Valley is a dangerously cheap destination to somebody wielding dollars... Gifts like tents, sleeping bags and bottles of whisky will keep you tokin' in STYLE for 3 months. You'll probably end up having to bury most of your smoke to fetch it well-cured 2 years later like most travellers there do

If you go, trust me though, follow the older Israelis man those guys know where it's at...

My health is the only thing keeping me away...
