I've had these showing up in several of my indoor soil pots for about a week now. I've been researching them for a couple days but have been unsuccessful in identifying them.

At first I thought they were mushrooms but now I'm not sure. There are some little flying insects that showed up at roughly the same time. (I hung a sticky flystrip and took care of 'em) I was wondering if these could be some kind of egg sacks or something from the insects?

Any input would be appreciated.

Wow that's really weird looking. That looks like mold. How's your humidity?

wow, they look like shrooms to me.. maybe let the soil dry out more before watering/get a moisture meter to assist with when to water? since shrooms grow in the damp, that is all i can come up with..

Nah, they're not over watered either, but thanks for the responses, I appreciate it.

Also, the 'Things' are not harming the plants - so far.
I've never seen these before which is why I'm trying to find out more info on 'em.
I'm not really sweating them very much, but I like to find out early if there's something that may be harmful to my garden.
Preventive maintenance, so to speak.

Fungus gnats are attracted to fungus... which is what that is.

Pull 'em, unless you think they're pretty or something.
