I would have to say that its doing what it says on the tin, buds start to strburst around 3/4 weeks then its from week 5/7 that you see more buds start to appear, but leave it has long has possible,i leave mine even if 75% of the pistol's have changed coulour and has a rule i flush all the time at week 9 for 7 days then take down at ten week.you will be amazed just how much bud is lost from takeing them down too early 10 weeks is a fast grow for me i let them run 12\13 weeks some of the time.but i have only just started leaveing them for 12/13 wk and my yeild has gon from 25/25 bone dry to 32/most of the time 36/38 bone dry.but you must use a good pk spike like big bud then pk 13/14.:leaf:

When you go into flowering should be based on height issues. The longer the veg state, the larger the roots, the larger the yield (for the most part), but also taller the plants - I don't know off hand because I grow hydro, but pot size also plays a factor in this because of root size, maybe someone else can chime in on that area. As far as height goes, say you have only 4 feet of grow height you should start flowering at about a foot and a half (that is depending on grow light)... expect 2-3x growth in flowering stage and that is dependent on your genetics, some grow 3x their height others less and others more. If you have unlimited height, go whenever you feel like for four plants a 600w HPS will penetrate nicely.

Do have a question though, what is your grow area lined with?

Your pain I feel on the unlabeled mess... I have one stray girl, I am 99% sure is an outdoor 'skunk x ?' outdoorish strain that snuck in. She's leggy thing, but she's happy being inside with her short friends.

Thanks for your tips guys I appreciate it, I was eager to to hear your thoughts on flowering as I've heared all different stories, currently they stand from soil about just under 2 feet, I've noticed as of yesterday though that at the base of the nodes the green/white hairs on on 4 plants,

My confusion on this is although they look like females the plants are so so bushy that I'm thinking they could be more shoots from the nodes, as of yesterday I now have 2 x 600w lights and a 400w all hps, I've increased the manual, watering cycle as I've found it more trustworthy to apply, the plants are very much enjoying this they all look very happy and healthy I looked about 10 mins ago and the green/white shoots are still there on all 4. They haven't gone any but the reat on the plant has grown at least a further 15%

I think the plant with the more droopier leaves is crystal as it has looked like that from the get go, and the one one with the dark fat leaves I think is the Hindu kush, both look like pics I've seen of them, but no idea on the other two? Any thoughts

Sorry also the tent was a specially made tent it is lined with insulated Mylar on one side and lightproof mesh on the other

here are some pics if you guys could give your thoughts please,

I'd guess you got 2 autos (in back), one indica-dominant (front-right) and one hybrid. From pic #2 in the first set you can see that those 4
have side leaves that reach the side of the pot. That means your root system has covered the same distance under the dirt. That means your
plants have been growing real slow, apparently, since they went into those pots. I guarantee you they are ready to start putting on some inches.

I can't see where your plants are in relation to the lights, but the closer you get them to the bulbs, the better. You can place your hand over
the top of the plant. If your hand isn't uncomfortable your plants will be OK. Don't forget that a plant at 4 feet requires more water than a plant at 6 or 8 feet.

They look great!

BigSteve.

Cheers big Steve I have the lights about 2 feet above them a don't wanna risk any closer cuz of the heat, good to hear about my mix, the transplant into those pots I think startled them a little but I've been paying close attention and they love it now so I hope your right and they will grow bigger and bigger. Any thoughts on the second lot of pis?

hey everyone just thought id put up some more pics, flushed the water today as leaves i thought were a tad yellowish.
