ok...so the guy wasnt very smart....thats his crime? i didnt graduate highschool should i be put in jail? he isnt hurting anybody, in fact, the opposite...but yet, his children have been taken away, and i guess depending on what "strike" this is for him, he is gonna do time...i think alot of you are missing the big picture, and just looking at it as "better him than me"...and that is starting to change my perspective on the "medical movement" in general...imma take a page out of sublbc's book, and say fuck the medical movement... im more for legalization at this point

what is one of the first rules or laws you fallow when growing...Its keep your mouth shut about what you are doing! the news didnt say he was a criminal or if they found guns. and ya im going to judge him he didnt look like the type to be very giving with his meds if that was his story (not to sell my ass). he just really fucked up by posting the vid. if it wasnt posted he wouldnt have been caught and found through youtube, gotten his kids in trouble including a 17 y/o that was under his care(i dont think its a bad thing to have a trade) and he wouldnt have gotten his friends in trouble as well. he made an error that i hope a lot of people that are good for this movement will learn from.

Dude officially did NOT know what he was doing. That's what happens when you smoke just a lil bit TOO much herb. I really feel sorry for the 17 y.o., as well as the 21 y.o.. Fuck yourself over, but leave the kids out of it.
The kids will be taken briefly into "protective custody" but they WILL desperately try every immediate and extended family member before placing them in temporary foster care, although shit like that keeps happening and CYS MIGHT have to make a move-- but generally, they are more forgiving than they really ought to be.

wow don't know how to feel about this:
one side of me says "i hope catching him truley makes up for all the cold case murders that are still walking the streets...on the other hand the guy knew the law and ignored it, 70 plants is very generous so why 600? why would you expose to young children to it? I mean i know i would be cool but every grower with kids know it is the easiest way to get them taken away for a long time...why risk it? Also a 17 year old tending garden....HE IS NOT LEGAL as a medical patient...again he shot himself in the foot. I am sorry but i have no compassion for people like that...however i do have compassion for his children and hope their time with CPS doesn't scare them for life...

1 - He was very stupid on posting a video on youtube when he had over his card limit.
2 - 70 plants? Most people would love to be able to grow that many so he shouldn't have gotten greedy from 70 plants. That's alot for 1 person alot.
3 - His kids were playing in it? Seriously? That isn't cool for taking his kids play spots away but also his kids shouldn't be playing around in it in the first place.
4 - He put the video up on youtube saying that its for sale. Seriously that is the most stupid thing you can do.

I gotta 2nd this entire statement,i didnt even watch the video,i cant look at shit like that beacuse i allready know exactly what it looks like 1st hand,its like watching cops,i hate that fukin show.
Anyhow the point is this,what you wont see on the video is the aftermath,wide eyed cops litteraly running around grabbing shit they want,stuffing their pockets in their doughnut filled asses with whatever they want,laughing at the home owner the whole time,then pulling in u hauls & taking everything in sight for auction.
Anybody left in that family is now starting over without so much as a bed to sleep on or a car to drive to work,anybody who thinks this dude deserves the extreme punishment of loosing his children,home,belongings,family,cars,bank accounts as well as prison time,then humongous fines,all because he posted a video is a sad sack in my book.
