Yum yum double gum grow

Hey all well i am a complete grow noob and this is going to be my first grow.

I Love reading the grow journals and really love the stealth grows - blisters and v12xjs to name a few,so they inspired me to have a go.

So i plan on doing a small grow using a 125watt cfl eco-lite and going 12/12 straight from seed.

I planned on using a pc case i had or bedside cabinet but they were both too small so i have decided to build a cabinet.

Here is what i have so far.

*Doublegum seeds

*Wooden batons and mdf to make a 2x2x2 box

*Mylar

*125watt red spectrum cfl and reflector

*4 x 80mm fans
2 x 120mm fans

*Deep fat fryer filter(chucked away grease sheet but am using the carbon filters that come with it)

*Hooks to hang the reflector and magnets for the side of the box to come on and off.

Well thats it for now still cant decide whether to use a psu to power the fans or whether to wire them to a power adapter.

Lastly want to say thanks to blisters as he helped me out with a question when i first joined and also a massive thanks to v12jxs as he has been helping me these last few days with hundreds of questions and if this grow is a success it will be mostly down to him so once again many thanks.

Will post again once i have started building the box:mrgreen:

Thanks for reading.

Very nice work there Ston3r.
Looks remarkably like another little grow box I helped with recently. That one yielded over 3oz of very nice bud from 2 seeds. Hope you have the same good fortune.

Thanks for the comments guys.

And it's just a small grow purple dank,I am not a massive smoker and probably only have a joint once or twice a week so if i got 5 grams off of a plant i would be happy lol.I have always been interested in growing so even if i don't get much bud i looking at it this way

1.I get to grow and have fun
2.It will be my hard earned smoke and i know where it has come from.
3.I can choose seeds and try different strains.

Once again thanks for all the help v12 you have been awesome.

Watch this space;-)

Thought i would do an update as not done one in a few days.

Noticed light leaks so i added some light traps inside which seem to have done the trick.

Noticed a tap root on 1 of my seeds on thursday so planted it:-P

when checking friday night after having my seed under a humidity dome i found this

Saturday night i took the humidity dome off and moved the plant to 6 inches from the light, and tonight i have now moved the plant to 4 inches away as it seemed to be stretching.

How is it looking? all help is greatly appreciated as i am a first time grower and am worried about either over watering or underwatering at the moment as it's only small i am just using as spray bottle and giving it a few sprays everyday.

Thanks in advance:-P

Right have been away for a few weeks so have not updated my journal and have got alot to fit in.

Although i am busy i want to try my best and keep this updated as i hoping everyone can learn from my mistakes:mrgreen:

Right i will bring you up to speed on my first plant which i named MJ in remembrance.

Well as you can see by the pics, MJ turned out to be a male so he got the boot. Found it horrible chucking it as it was my first ever plant and it seemed to be so healthy but i got shot of him and prayed my next one would be female.

Now moving onto my next plant named Nancy (from weeds) , i had my fingers crossed that giving this plant a female plant will hopefully make it a female.

On Monday Nancy had been planted 3 weeks ago and when i went to check i was thrilled to find out she was a she:-P

When checking wednesday i noticed some of my leaves look like this.

Wondered what it could be and decided to inform my mate on her v12xjs who has been helping me majorly and he said a few things but one was that maybe some of the leaves sat on top of each other and sweated leaving moisture/water droplets which are getting magnified and are burning the leaves.

So when checking tonight i checked for this and noticed a few leaves touching each other and they were leaving moisture so i believe that was the problem.

So thanks mate:mrgreen:

Well thats it for now and i will update tomorrow with how everything is going.

Right another update.

First i will start with a few photos of the problem leaves.

Still believe it's the same problem as before as if you look at the tip of the burnt leaf you can see the damage it has left on the leave below which it was obviously resting on.

Finding it quite hard to not get stressed and down about the plant as i am usually a perfectionist but as i am still learning and it's my first ever plant i know i have to make mistakes and it won't be perfect but i really want to start again:cry:

Anyway while i was at it i also took some more pictures of the new growth.

from the photos you can probably see a few of the other leaves that are damaged.

Well i gonna try and carry on and hopefully will get some bud out of it.

All comments and advice welcome.

The damage on the last pic still looks much like a drop of something that's dried on the plant rather than any kind of deficiency. Do you have any humidity figures?

Have sent you the humidity readings mate.

Also took some more photo's today.

Here's 2 of all the new growth

Can't believe how much difference a day makes.

And also just 2 photos of an aerial view.

The cotyledons are just about gone now so i just waiting for the bottom leaves to start turning yellow and then i going to start on my nutes.

As you can also see in the background of the 4th pic i have planted another seed (Megan) and it is now under it's humidity dome.

As you have seen from some of the leaves humidity has been a problem and it seems to be when the lights go out and so do my fans the humidity goes up crazy so today i left my exhaust fans going all day and the humidity has dropped right off so i am very happy:mrgreen:

Now will start with 2 pics i took as soon as the lights came on.

Now as you can see Nancy has now grew back up straight again and is in serious need of some more lst.Not sure if what i read was correct but i read that you should always lst when your soil is dry as it's alot easier to bend when it's not just soaked up a load of water , so as i watered saturday and was due to water today i thought i would get my lst in before i done so.

Started by bending her right over and then just tying down as many of the big side branches as i could.

Now all the smaller leaves are getting much more light.

And just a side view to show all the big branches out of the way and the smaller ones growing up.

And although small my first ever 7 bladed leave.

thanks for reading all and all comments and advice will be really appreciated.

Still noticing some leaves look like they have burnt marks on them. still think it might be to do with leaves touching each other and sweating.

Photo of one of the burnt leaves.

although most of the leaves are still looking lovely.

After the lst last night nancy is now readjusting herself back up to the light.

And another aerial view of Nancy.

Also Megan decided to say hello tonight.

Thanks for looking all and remember this is my first grow so i really would appreciate your comments on how she looks.
