ZAPO Frog Information

I posted a thread here looking for information on this frog a few days ago and the post got troll jacked and never produced any results so I thought I would post info I found since if anyone was intrested.

A search under South American Dart Frog, or Dendrobates auratus will unleash a slew of information and locations for purchase.
They are said to be easy to raise given the proper environment, and can easily live ten to twenty years. They can be purchased for $25 to $45.
They have many different sub genus's and are really beautiful creatures.

they are NOT easy to raise and VERY difficult to breed. i normally dont tell tell ppl to give up....but, give up. you will regret ever wasting your time with some frogs

ive been to south america and on the tv they have commercials advising you not to lick the frogs.
thought i would share the experience
