Hey guys. I had a WPM outbreak In my tents and am currently using Zerotol as a direct spray to try and save my harvest. There isn’t a lot of zerotol talk on here or anywhere relating to cannabis. And I’m aware that it’s basically a hydrogen peroxide mixture.
my question is has anyone else used zerotol with success?
I did save one plant with it from my last harvest. I removed all infected leaves and then sprayed it down for about 3-4 days in a row and then once a week after that and the WPM didn’t progress anymore.
from what I noticed to be most effective you have to pretty much remove ALL infected leaves. Both fan and sugar leaves. If you can’t get them all it’s ok just make sure when you’re spraying that you hit the entire plant and the visually infected areas the most. And make sure you spray the stems, branches and trunks also. I would say as good measure you also want to remove all fan leaves so that there’s better airflow, and less chance of leaves touching. Also the better airflow allows the spray to dry better.
If sprayed improperly it can lead to bigger problems and more WPM due to increased humidity. I recommend getting a cheap atomizer off Amazon or something to mist your plants better and hit more areas without being too wet. You also want to have tons of airflow and exhaust so that the leaves dry quickly after spraying and the humidity can quickly exit the room/tent. I recommend leaving the door/tent open so that the humidty doesn’t build while drying causing more WPM issues.
if anyone has any suggestions or other insight it would be much appreciated.
