Thanks Greenhorn! You have a great journal too man...I was just going through some of the older pages, lookin at all the cool pics...reminded me of when I was younger and my Dad used to tell me about the hawaiian buds he used to smoke when he would vacation in hawaii, and that was like 30 years ago! Imagine those old original pure strains!...glad ur keepin those helicops guessin!:bigjoint:

Every guy I know from SD to NorCal uses MG Organic and perlite...EVERY. That's about 10 guys that grow a ton of weed.

Fdd uses MG too...

I have a small avocado tree that I used just MG organic and I'm not happy with the natural drainage. It needs almost 20-25% perlite to drain properly.

Well im having terrific results with this foxfarms so ill continue to use it but if im ever really broke Ill cut FFOF with the mg organic, I just have had reallly bad experiences with mg potting soil with those lil orange nutrient balls that are supposed to be slow release lol

You're buying the wrong MG then dude. Organic is not time released. FF is good soil. But if you have 30 ladies going outdoors in 5-10g pots FF gets a little pricey.

Im not buying any mg, for this grow at least, as of now I already have everything I need, I said in the past ive bought the wrong mg...since then ive just used ffof...so I never really had the chance to try the right mg, and yeah I get what your saying, but its not a big deal cuz Ill prolly never grow 30 plants outdoors.. on my property at least, instead im cool with 6 or 8 really big plants...this year Ill be under my limit even...I can grow 12 mature legally, next year ill do 12 monsters in even bigger holes and Ill prolly have to cut the ffof with mg organic in order to afford it all lol

its lookin good man. so your flowering outdoor too huh? i bring my plants in to flower. i'm scared of all the bugs. what do you use for an insect repellent? something organic of course?

i heard plants were supposed to flower around september outdoor in cali but you said some of yours were already flowering?

this year i'm going to leave one of my plants outdoor to see what happens outdoor.

yeah bro I had some early flowerers lol as of now I only have one that seems to be in flower kinda..and thats that lil purple widow one...all the other are still in veg and are gonna pound veg growth for another 2 months probably and flower probably late august...right now I have NO insect repellant...like a lazy idiot...but the bugs arent really gettin bad...just lil grasshoppers leaving lil tiny holes in fan leaves, if it gets real serious Ill get some organic pest repellant....

hah thanks for scribing bro, and hmm maybe I got a bad batch, but the purple widows didnt suck ass but they have been the least reliable, I had like 7 males! and they didnt grow very well, i got the outdoor pack from www.marijuana-seeds.nl ... anyways so now I only have like 2 purple widows and one went into flower way too early....anyways I was most excited about the purple widows, and even though this experience was bad, next year Im STILL gonna order another 10 purp widow seeds lol...anyways I should get a couple oz from the purple widows by the time they are done...

Your grow is looking good Haus. I like the purple widow too. Ive got some widow x purple cindy that was gifted to me. They are growing reall well. I have mostly female out of 8. So far only one male :clap:. I have 5 of another hybrid and am waiting for some gender to show. Now Im hoping for some sunny days.
