No he wasn't. It is not possible to run AWAY from someone and be getting closer to them. For your speculative process to work, Martin would have to run TOWARD ZImm, which would be stalking and pursuing. Good thing Zimm had a gun since Martin was hunting him down like prey.

Zimmerman should have been back at his truck or better still should have never have been following Trayvon in the first place. If the Zimm wanted to be the police he should have filled out an application to become one..not some BS Citizens Academy. look at a map of where this occurred.
zimm parked his truck directly between the clubhouse and the cut through that leads to the path down towards martin's home.
when martin ran away, he ran south. the final confrontation happened to the NW of zimm's truck. martin was most likely trying to circle back to the cut though to get home when zimm spotted him again. or zimm was lurking behind some houses.
in any case, it was impossible for zimm to be returning to his truck. he was south of his truck and then he was NW of his truck. he was on the offense looking for martin. geography makes this FACT.

no, look at a map of the complex. listen to the recorded tapes and the known location of the murder.

Sorry buddy, martin cannot run AWAY from Zimmerman and at the same time be getting closer to Zimmerman. There is no fucking way Zimmerman can catch Martin, martin is way way too fast and has a HUGE head start. I think the Redivider theory of teleportation might be your only hope.
