Hey guys,
Sorry I didn't snap any pics but...
As a test I ran very small qwiso with fresh frozen sugar trim. It was about 1/4 of a 1qt. jar after grinding up.
Anyway, after evapping(over night with a fan over it), I was left with the greenish film I've seen before from qwiso but also 2 small areas of white powder.
My first thought was it looks kinda like mildew but I don't see how.
I used "frozen" 99.99% reagent iso, not sure exactly how much but just enough to cover the trim, I poured it thru tippled coffee filters(store brand white). And I QUICK washed it best I could, poured the iso in, shook it once, then poured thru the filter, no pressing really. The resulting liquid barely covered the bottom of the pyrex pan.
PS, Temps are ~70, and RH ~30% where I was evapping. It be cold and dry here, hehe.
