My journey

Sorry about the pics, the camera is messed up and giving me trouble. So i will tell you;
1. The nicest one has its first set of single leaves, first set of 3 point leaves, and a new set of leaves starting. Its foliage is growing slow, but the stem has grown about half inch since last night. Whats wierd though is the first set of leaves and the outside of the new leaves are starting to turn purplish color.
2. The oldest one is had its first set of leaves, first set of 3 point leaves and the second set is almost completly grown (the side leaves are very small)
the first set of leaves died and the middle leaves of the first set of 3 point leaves are drooped down (from stress i guess) but the rest of the leaves are perking up. Also growing slow and small.
3. The youngest one has its first set of leaves, its first set of 3 point leaves and the next set is growing out. One of the first leaves looks like its gonna die. Maybe from the transplant. also small and growing slow.

Finally there is Bob-backwards. Its finally growing. The stem is getting thicker and the new growth is nice bright green. The first set of leaves died but the first and second set of 3 point leaves are looking ok and there is new growth in the middle that grew visibly while i was at work (9 hrs)

Hope to get pics. I really think these are very underdeveloped though. I'm going to germ two more and put them in the soil my friend is using with success. Hopefully if that grows well then i can fix the prob.

Temp has been around 67 at night (1:20 - 7:30) and the hottest has been 84.6
humidity has stayed around 38% min (right before watering) and 65% max(after watering)
I'm going crazy, i think my house is cursed. My cats a midget my dog has a tiny head and my plants won't grow. God hates me! Theres my rant, but i'm high as shit so cant stay angry, or pay attention so after writing this for almost an hour i'm done. ADHD and regs makes for a short attention span!

:joint:buenos noches:joint:

:peace:

And i had to come back and fix this shit too! I was typing retarded! peace

Wow, some of those look a little under the weather. maybe post some pics in the plant problem area. Someone there could tell you more then I could guess.

The youngest one looks burnt.
I have no idea on the purple, but some strains are purple.

Are they bag seed or something special?

yeah, its wierd. i haven't used nutes. and that ugly leaf fell off. the three seedlings were from some ok regs. and bob was from some really good kine.

the purple is a trip though. i'm gonna go check on them. i think its time to water two of them. i'll let you know of any dramatic changes.

So i posted some pics up about my issues and the general thought was to change my soil. I will germ two more seeds starting tonight and will move my plants to new soil. MG organic, worm castings, and perlite. This should fix the problem. I also hope to purchased cool mist humidifier and some things to construct intake/exhaust so that i can put my grow cabinet together.

Let us all pray for the babies!

I was thinking it may be soil. Add some vermiculit or perlite (May have misspelled my wife is asleep) about 2 parts soil and 1 part vermiculit or perlite I like perlite. wal-mart has it. I mixed a little bat gauno 10-2-1 in two of mine I'll try and look back to see the ones I put it in.

It really does make a lot of sense. Twistup04 uses those clear cups and you could see the roots all throughout. Its a great peak to clue you in!!

I think I put the bat gauno in 2 and 3 both grew very well with little problems.

Here was the soils I used.

1) seed put in some locale pete moss.

2) at first transplant (this was not what you should do) Mircal-gro moisture control (the moistue control made easy to over water). The MG organic or African Violet are better.

3) every transplant from here on I used Pro Mix soil with neutral ph (2 parts) and perlite (1 part).

My next soil for the clones will be:
Pro Mix soil with neutral ph
perlite
bat gauno
worm castings

I still need to decide how much bat gauno & worm castings to use.

Hope this helps, good luck.

Wow, 10 pages of help in plant problem area. That took 45 min. to read. Those first guys were a little harsh but the guys that in jumped after page two seemed to help.

I hope the new soil works out. I think the perlite will help the most.

Good luck, Randy

LMAO, I know right. Nobody wanted to read what i wrote just wanted to look at pics and chime in. But they quickly got weeded out and a few people took the time to help.

I hope it does!! We'll see. I'm getting the new soil after work so it should be on like donkey kong.

Ok so the move is a success.
unfortunately i could not find any worm castings anywhere i went to Lowes, Home Depot, Wal-Mart and a local garden shop! So i ended up getting MG organic, MG perlite (only one i found) and MG potting mix. I went with about 75% MG organic, 20% Perlite, and 5% MG potting mix. I only used a little of the potting mix as it contained a higher N-P-K.

But the were moved 30 min after the lights went on and all survived until lights off today. While they were sleeping i built my grow cab. I will have pics of it up prolly tmrw.

All 4 plants are still alive and hopefully after coming to from the move they will take off.bongsmilie

We'll see hopefully i'll have something positive en la manana!

I don't know. My ph tester both don't seem to work it always reads 6.75 to 7.25.

I've never tried to change it.
Thats gotta be nice!

So question. I was thinking about the moon and shit. I read that i produces .2 lumens a square ft. So do you think if you could reproduce that and used it at night it would make a diff?

Just high thinking. I'm prolly gonna start a thread and see what some people think.

Well I'm wasted for starters, my wife is upstairs sleeping she crashed from the day of :joint: .

the .2 is for a clear night with a full moon. so most of the time the moon has little effect. at a new moon it is 0

right. Soooooooo, what if you could reproduce the whole moon cycle? It would be a lot of work but kinda interesting.
