the uk thread is a closed loop, if you aren't english it can be very difficult to stay in a conversation in that thread. i personally think it is the best thread on here, it took me 3 years to venture into there but they aren't so bad when you get to know them.

i don't mind being called a pom, you could call me a cunt and it wouldn't hurt my feelings, after all it is only words and words can't hurt you unless you let them. i hate to see people getting beat up by what people have said to/about them, people will always find a way to become a victim it seems.

on a food note;
i just had some pork chops for dinner, barbeque glaze, nothing else with them and i eat them with my hands, i now feel even more manly than i did this morning.

just having an old school revival sub....turkey with brie and cranberry sauce!

last night I made deconstructed lasagne, i.e it was spag balls with a cheesey bechamel sauce thrown on top. I like to make my own pasta, once you start doing it, you'll never buy shop pasta again.

i'm betting that making your own pasta and rolling the ingredients into tubes is going to be a damn site easier than stuffing store bought tubes. that's a right faff.

spinach and ricotta then bolognese alternating. mmmm nom nom nom

I make pasta simple (I even use normal flour, although you can get more specific flour for it). 100grams per egg. I whisk the egg first so the pasta is a more even colour. If you are making verdi with spinache make up the difference in weight with the spinache, but after quickly steaming it you should dry the hell out of it with a paper towel....then if you don't have a mangle just use a rolling pin, easy peasy, but a little bit more care required.
