i use 10 10 10 all the way through. go really lite on your first few feedings. you can always add, but it is hard as hell to take away. people have used mg plant food, and some of us use the soil, i do on my outdoor plants. do a search on mg plant food and see what everybody is using. remember this is a big site and you will find lots of answers right and wrong, and you will find a lot of hate for mg products.

i have organic soil but as you see my soil is always wet never dry air is forced into the soil so nutes are hardly needed it takes what they need and i flush the water every 2 days also right now i add 1/64 of a 1/2tsp to my water which i water the top 3 times a day im using bloom mix right now they need to thicken up a bit. this is old school method. also by changing out water every 2 days my ph never gets out of control on me. my lights are lower than the picture shows i raise them to water ect. gonna start hitting the leaves tonight with a mist of my water also. they are taking off like weeds which they are.

Update: Change of light cycle (last change until flowering) 20/4 on all the time except from 6pm til' 10pm

I've decided to do another picture updated in 2 days as there is very active growth in the plants now (well in one of them) and there will be a huge change from last time (hopefully), Right now my plants are resting.... hope they do good!

I just realized that I've been an idiot when I re-potted them because I left them in the small peat pots as some roots were growing through them and thought that I might as well just leave it but clearly that was a bad idea as two of the plants are behind as I left 2 in the pots and one un-potted.

Trying to make this as simple as possible so sorry for any really confusing shit you may come across. The good thing is they're still alive!

this is how i do the lights. seed to 1 inch tall 24hrs on
then 20hrs on 4 off till i have 3rd set of true leaf branches.
then 18hrs on 6 off till i Fim and the fim's have 2 nodes and i can fim again. once they have 1 node
i switch to 16hrs on 4 off. while this is going on i might due some training well my blueberry will have to be trained for sure.
10 to 14 days later ill switch to 14hrs on 10 hrs off for 10 to 14 days. then its 12/12. i may even end with 11 on 13 off depending on what my plants are telling me.

Here is another update: One is way ahead and the other two the leaves are kind of curling up as you may be able to tell from the pictures. Really cheap setup



The last pic looks a little messed and that is because I moved the lights and for that reason the color is different on some of the pictures. Anyone got any suggestions on why the leaves are curling up... sorry for taking the picture in a way that you cant see it as I wasn't planning to point this problem out I'm planning to start nutrients on Monday so I'm a little worried for the ones in pic 3 and 4, Picture 5 is doing great!

okay the leaves follow the light. they are looking for it. also what nutes have you fed to them. cfl put he lights within 3 inches form them the leaf will go 180 under them. oh yeah what is your K rating on the lights they should be 6500k right now 5k is lowest but not good enough with cfl. here look at my plants. You see the leaf si almost 180 that means they like the light the ones leaning a bit is try to reach more of the 6500k i have 4 6500k and 4 5k in this pic with mylar reflector above them so all light goes down on them.

I haven't started feeding them nutes yet but because two are behind yet I'm just going to start feeding the one that is ahead so the other two don't die of too much nutrients. (Miracle gro all purpose soluble plant food) I'll hopefully show the measurements in a pic on Monday. Thanks for the interest and your seedlings are looking good... I need to get some mylar because as you can see, I have a cardboard box setup

Thanks but I'm sticking with my idea... I have a few single bladed leaves (tiny ones) possibly because of the light change to 20/4 but all should be good, will put some pics up in about 5 days.

You can see the single bladed leaf a little in the last pic on the bottom leaf.

yeah each grower must do it there own way. im doing 2 tests on my first indoor grow. I know a great deal about growing but still have so much more to learn after seeing all the masters and great growers here at RIU

I've ordered some diamond mylar reflective sheeting as it spreads the light evenly and there are no hot spots (1m x 1.25m) for £4.95 ($8.17) which is really cheap.

Hope that growth increases with it and I should get it before my next update, hopefully on Tuesday - If this grow flops or I get all males I will start an auto grow and I'm planning to throw in some 2700k's during this grow hopefully within 2 weeks.

FImming is also coming along the way also in about 2 weeks so I hope to make this grow successful but if it doesn't then I'll just start over again, have to learn from my mistakes.

First nutes feed on Monday for the plant that is ahead and I will show the dosage in some pics. (hopefully I'll stop saying hopefully.... hopefully the plant(s) will like it)

1 mill is real thin i like 2 mill. yes i have 9 plants going 13 days old 5 blueberry from canada and 4 bubblegum or pineapple my friend cant remember what they was jsut that they are good and he paid allot. and 1 c99 fem from seedz in papertowel in heated dome till its ready for riot root cube. ill have to do some fim then make clones to find out what sex the 9 plants are i might take a clone of each and run the 9 so i can have my mother plants in 1.5 gall pots. here are my babies.

hey go to modularhydro.com watch the video on air injection soil. you can make 3 pots for and get airpump for $40 or jsut try 1 go buy a $5 pump 2 t connectors 8 ft of airline and use safety pin to punch holes in air tube you make for bottem. go to fabric store by 1 ft of cotton flat filler and get some tiny rocks from anywhere and wash them, try this you will be blown away. i water/feed 3 times a day right now about 1/5 cup each plant each time my place is drier so i can do this. ive grown tons outdoors and i love this setup for indoors. and buy 2 6500k daylight bulbs if you can they will love it. here are my babies today i bet 4 males and 5 female. yours are looking great also and when you buy the 2700k bulbs for bloom get 23watt or 40 watt i like 40 better.
