totally! it was in some medical journal my gf had shown me from uni. specifically awesome for psoriasis apparently.
My gf uses it for everything, including specific skin issues. Picks up a 500ml jar of pure oil for about £1.50 from the chinese supermarket. try a health shop or such, and they try and charge you the moon and beyond. also smells fucking divine!

lmao, funny how we do that from time to time i have an olive at an italian for example and realise how horrid they are.

and yeah i get the cococnut oil from an asian supermarket near me( and all sorts of other weird and wonderful stuff. half of which i have no idea what it is, tin is in arabic, picture usually makes no sense, as do none of the tins around them lol. i like to browse the place high as a kite then buy naans and fresh dates. they always have enormous fresh dates for some reason.

They taste muddy. I just barfed a little in my mouth thinking about it. :-(
You are not wrong , they taste like the dirty muddy water they come from ,and from going along the bottom sucking up mud and shit looking for food.
I have caught some out of clean , clear freshwater , they didn't have that muddy taste as much but the flesh is just mushy and tasteless.
They remind me of carp ! They are the scum of the earth in Australia .
It is illegal if you catch a carp here to put it back in the water , you have to leave them on the bank to die .
And they taste worse than catfish , they are sloppy , muddy , shit !

Thats a funny law. You must leave the fish to die out of the water. Maybe theyd make good cat food?
I think they do use it for blood and bone fertilizer and there is also one called charlie carp fertilizer .
I think we mostly use Australian salmon (saltwater) for pet food here .
Yes it is a funny law , you can get fined for puttng them back into the water , thats how bad they are .
I have only herd of some chinese people who like to eat it .

that is so bizarre, in europe we have specimen lakes just for massive carp fishing and it's catch and release or a poaching fine lol.
Yeah i've seen those lakes on foxtel Don .
I always wanted to know why you would have lakes just for carp ? (The crap fish )
But i think they are a very strong fighting fish on rod and reel , there it is , just for sport ! (like you said catch and release )
The problem here is they got into our river systems and destroy all our Native fish like Murry cod , all perch species , trout cod , and so on .
If they are held in a lake just for them , then i suppose it's not a bad idea . Bit of fun for the family .
I would rather catch a fish that fights great and tastes even better , that's just me !

that's me all over man, i have zero interest in fishing if i'm not going to eat what i catch. my cuz is bang into it though, pics of him in waders with 30lb carp n stuff. apparently as they are decades old they are actually pretty clever at evading the hooks so the real fun is in the cat and mouse. seriously he's told me he has stalked along the river bank so as not to be seen by them. nutter...

i wouldn't mind noodling some catfish though, that looks badass.

Hahahaha thats funy don you want to play with the noodle of the catfish ! just kiding i know what you mean , i think i would rather the rod and reel approch though !!!!
More fun me thinks and you don't have to get wet !
People do that whole stalking thing here for trout , it works though , they have really good eye sight .
To tell you the truth there isn't alot of freshwater fish and such i would eat ,
apert from - fresh water crayfish and yabbies , trout , toupong , blackfish and thats it .
If it comes from that great saltwter sea of ours , i will eat just about everything , most stuff even raw .
