Na it should be algood now that you've exposed it to lower temps so it doesn't get too stressed if it gets cold snaps in april. It's been non stop clear days up here, I want some rain thoughYea should be algood hasent been repeated abuse, just on and of. Looks like you've been having amazing weather up there I bet your plants are loving it! Its been avergae here over the last couple of days - Sunny cloudy on and of kinda stuff you know the drill lol Heading for 26 on Monday and Tuesday though so that will be great! Hope your Malawi's turn out great I reckon theyl be amazing smoke. That Taskenti sounds prefect for my climate then I might look into it. Yeah it must be sativa dominated becasue I expected some flowering by now but nothing yet. When I go up tomorrow im gonna have a real good look at it Id say it should be starting to now or really close to. With these next nice couple of days I wouldn't be surprised if it triggers it. Do you reckon I can use regular straight out of the fire place potash? So ultimately something higher in PK over N?
Real awesome how BOP has its on little strain bro, must be acclimatised good as. Odd how you Malawi has hairs do you reckon they could just be pre flowers? Sucks about those passion vine hoppers man, they look pretty badly infested. Better wip up a concoction of some sort and give them a good blast Poor Panama being stunted. I can see what you mean it defiantly does look a bit stunted since the last pictures. The Malawi's must have adapted well to bugs also im loving those big thin sativa leaves. Great pictures I cant wait to see all yours flower!
I reckon you should grow a Dr Grinspoon up your way. Its a pure heirloom sativa and supposedly a old school sativa of the highest order. It grows tall and skinny and almost doesn't even look like a weed plant so that could potentially be stealthy! The buds look out of it as kinda like little bits of popcorn with a THC range of 18 - 25. Probably not very big yielding at all but I bet its potent as .It would do way better up your way than down here becasue of the really long flowering time of 95 - 100 days, check it out its by barneys farm I think. Some guy on you tube reckoned the buds were tiny but absolutely devastating lol Ill chuck some pictures of my plants up when I got up tomorrow.
Exactly, that's what i love about the stuff and why i don't like smoking bho on its own because the near pure THC high is so boring. It feels like a bunch of different drugs when i'm smoking multiple strains throughout the week thanks to the subtle differences in the amount of each chemical.i totally agree with what kiwi is saying about potency. its not so much the THC figure.

Nah i love hash, i've never made it before but the hashballs from the keif i find in my jars hits the spot like nothing else, it has the full chemical 'spectrum'. I'm talking about butane extracted oil that mostly extracts THC; it feels so incomplete on its own. When i smoke flower after a few days of plain oil it knocks me down a peg, like i've had a tolerance break or something. Some people prefer it over bud for the clear high though i suppose, i don't.What do you mean by the pure thc high is boring?. Are you meaning hash?. nice crumbly hash is better than bud imo, gets you so intensely high. Well it is a class b drug I suppose.
mmm we used to make hash from an afghani, so nice and earthy with a warm blanket feeling slowly creeping on. scissor/finger hash has more of a one dimensional high like the oil you described.Nah i love hash, i've never made it before but the hashballs from the keif i find in my jars hits the spot like nothing else, it has the full chemical 'spectrum'. Yeah hopefully those temps will help it long term. Sounds like you've had awesome weather mate, we've had two perfect cloudless days yesterday and today. Got to 26 yesterday and right now ere sitting on 28. Its like from so cold to so hot its out of it weather down here lol Yea the on and of cloudy days suck they get annoying ae. Hope your Tashkent goes algood bro I think ill grow it down my way. Hardy and pest resistant will be perfect especially with the strong thick branching because of the winds down here but the only thing id be a little concerned about it bud rot down here because we get a fair bit of rain latter in the season.Na it should be algood now that you've exposed it to lower temps so it doesn't get too stressed if it gets cold snaps in april. Yeah I hate those on off average days man, NZ is famous for turning to shit for weeks at a time. Sucks when the buds don't quite finish off properly because of those half rain/sun days.
not to mention bud rot, I'm worried about the Taskenti because it's a longer flower indica that goes into the 2nd week of april and we get a bit of rain around that time.
Yeah I reckon the Tashkent would be perfect for your climate bro, such a hardy pest resistant plant. The cuttings veg insanely fast indoors under a 600 hps, strong thick branching with huge wide leaves that have purple/red veins or whatever those lines are lol. I'm regretting not putting a proper taskenti out earlier, still might end up 4ft tall. Landrace indicas handle the cold like champs since they come from some of the coldest places on earth. As soon as you see a stigma coming out of a pre flower it is has been flowering for at least 5 days.
I bought some potent pesticide stuff from mitre 10 today and gave them a good spray, they didn't seem to like it at all and I sprayed with neem afterwards too.
I also got some potash today, some sort of flower booster one. Tui brand and in a purple packet for $10 from mitre 10 bro, more than enough for my 6 plants. I only feed the Malawi and Taskenti with it today. Those Panamas should be back on track after some rain thats coming up, I aint letting these bastards win.
I've seen that dr grin spoon, a few sativas do it occasionally. weird bud structure but looks potent, did you watch that youtube video of that dude reviewing it? said it was potent as.
THC % doesn't mean anything as in potency really, It's not thc-bud mass ratio but how much is in each trichome. The Zamal strain from reunion island(just off africa) only tested at 15% thc but it reported to be the most hallucinogenic strain out there. You're plant is most likely a female by this stage if you can't see any hairs, look real closely though. It's so hard to see at first.
You will know your sex by mid feb I'd say at the latest.
dankdope
It should bounce back pretty good with a big rootball. Hopefully it doesn't flower for a bit to recover. Yeah that's why I always grow sativas for the longer time so I don't miss the roar
I'm so keen to shoot some massive reds or wapiti crosses, man the deer sign is huge up in the Ruahines. Some tough bloody stags up there! one time a stag took 5 shots before it finally decided to die - the first 3 shots it looked completely dead and then as I walked up to it, it stood up and stumbled off refusing to die lol 308. too. it gets pretty rugged up there where we go, never an easy walk as you would know ha.
View attachment 2983208one month agoView attachment 2983209 and today. an inch shorter than me and I'm about 6'. not too bad for an average season.

Yeah today has clouded over a bit, good for the pesticide to settle in. man such a cool summer aye? we haven't even got 28 this summer although I've measured 29.4 at my house.Yeah hopefully those temps will help it long term. I bet that pesticide pissed them of heaps! Sucks having to use pesticides but sometimes you just have to in order to win. Might have to get me a bag of that potash from mitre 10 sounds algood, should fatten those buds up. On the topic of that Dr grin spoon I have to agree with you guys that THC isnt the only component. There are so many other things that contribute to the high, im sure its not just me that's had some really average or poor looking bud but gotten blasted as by it? As they say "dont judge a book by its cover" haha Id love to try that Zamal! But yeah it was that guy reviewing Dr grin spoon on you tube I think he had to pace himself on it hahah
Went and checked out my plant yesterday and gave it the last big feed of nitrosoil and its still just over 5ft. Its looking awesome other than the fact that I think its a male. I was expecting a female because the structure just doesn't seem like a male. Ill let you guys decide from the pictures but Im pretty sure there are balls forming so id say its a good 5 days or so into flowering. Its almost like we started flowering at exactly the same time CK? . Anyway im not overly annoyed if its a male because Ive learnt heaps and if it is im just gonna grow it out and try and get it as nice looking and as healthy as possible so that next season I can grow some nice big females Its all a learning curve eh? Has anyone else noticed how amazing it is that the stems get so strong! Mines probably less than an inch think and is very very very strong! No wonder hemps so good I took my good camera up and got some nice photos so check it out.
Plant: Cool looking leaves: Looks male, and look towards the top of the pictures: Also took this pic that looked kinda cool:
I don't know what you mean about the keif hash, i smoke it on it's own and it ticks all the boxes, oil i just use to top off a bowl.mmm we used to make hash from an afghani, so nice and earthy with a warm blanket feeling slowly creeping on. scissor/finger hash has more of a one dimensional high like the oil you described.
Yea i've been reading your posts about the landraces, i've never grown a pure sativa or a pure anything, always hybrids. Are there any specific breeders you stick to? what sativa strains would you say are the best in terms of the quality of the high.A sativa with high thc-v is something different man, strains like Malawi and Zamal can really fuck you up. Outdoor grown bud has a more complex thc profile that you can't achieve inside.

My tollerence is good, i can still get nice and stoney off 3 small bowls. I only smoke once or twice a day but as you can imagine, i've mostly been smoking the same strains since early 2012 as well as one other i started mid last year, i'm pretty over them. It's still the best i've smoked so far though, it was called special queen #1 as well as another strain. I've only had my brother and uncles weed to compare it to as well as what i use to buy. I'm about to have a tolerance break for a month or so because i've got a few new strains going this time. I have no experience in the strain game so i'm looking forward to this harvest. These landraces sound like some serious stuff, i think i might do some more seed shopping after this grow.I'll show you some proper hash done through the bags, I just harvested today and have a lot of trim and fan leaves. I'll upload a pic of the finger hash I got today, massive ball mate. Ace Seeds & Cannabiogen are the best sources of preserved genetics, How high is your tolerance? Malawi and Zamaldelica are the most trippiest strains from Ace, Zamaldelica fem is Malawi x Zamal which is from reunion island. Panama is a sativa hashplant from both of the companies too. Destroyer from CBG is a pure sativa hybrid that has some potent trippy big buds. mexican/thai x colombian I think. Some nice pure indica strains are taskenti from CBG, Pakistani Chitral Kush from both the companies. They share some strains because they used to work with each other, as far as I know there is no difference between the strains they share. Dankdope, Yeah I've had little pollen too, sometimes there's some on a leaf.
Small bowls as in one hitters, so three good hits and i'm sorted, it's good to be efficient. I'm keen on buying a vape pen, did you just have that sent from overseas?holy isht you say "yeah my tolerance is good i still get stoney from 3 small bowls" lol. you make me sound like a light weight lol. 1 bowl usually sorts me out. 2 bowls and im a blabbering idiot most of the time lol
i tend to stick to joints and small hits from my pocket vape though. i like to build my high rather than that big hit from a bong. dunno just a soft cock i guess hahaahah
