I already bought the spyder grow-max fixture looking to try a custom spectrum out and see the difference between the "high par rating spectrums" these companies come out with vs a more sun tailored spectrum. Will compare them with my current Neosol ns since like GG said they split off from illumitex so the results will be interesting. Not sure how ethical the split was to be honesty but I am here purely looking at product all bull shit aside.

Damn, your worse than Cococola;-)..........any pics of your setup would be appreciated!!..............I think Cococola recently made a pretty nice spectrum on their website so maybe he can chime in to help.

are you still getting the new illumintex ds panel???

It's not even that he ripped illumitex off. It's that they have been out for over a year now(since I first saw them) and originally they stated the par numbers for a single bar before they upgraded/changed their site...and they were super low...only 250-300µmols. I can get those numbers with T8's.
Now they don't show any numbers except what 6 bunched together...but conveniently leave out what it does in actual use mode, and don't show single bar numbers anymore.
When you click on a tab labeled "PAR"...you expect to see some data showing the lights par output...not just a 5th grade definition of par light.

And worse of all it is the same price $/w as apache, illumitex, or blackdog...and yet the company has shown nothing to prove they are worthy of being in that league.
For $2.9/watt I would be buying something else.

And they call their actually 333w unit, and 600w unit...that doesn't fly with me.

I would actually love to see your grows under the illumitex. I only say your plasma run. And now with 2 of these BML(at least on the way), what is your plan?? Grow room size, lights, yield goals?

The par #'s are up for the spydr fixture with the arms SPREAD out............lol...........Apache #'s they are NOT, still question if this panel has 100% osram leds. Really like the design though, they should remove those plastic(waterproof) coverings on the leds and raise those readings.

That's basically what I expected it to look like. Hats off to them for getting the info out there like that though. Could be the great for lettuce and greens growing still.

And yes, the BMLs are really good at leafy pants. And tomatoes and peppers and now I am growing our most revered flowering plant under them. Harvesting this weekend. Just received a SPYDR for my next grow. Yes, they are ALL Osram LEDs.

I don't think any of that was directed at you, apache is well known for being the most powerful light out and the footprint is equal/better than a 1000hps in a 4x4. Here is a test done by growers house to save you the trip. And I have it documented in my videos of my grow. But sweet you got the 411 on BML. So I guess that means you were flowering under multiple bars...maybe put the spider in there for a week??

Do you have any pics of how the grow has gone till now. What are the specs of the grow...plants, space, training style, how many bars?

I'd like to introduce a new LED lighting system I will be bringing to market soon. [FONT=&quot]We will be offering 65w, 95w, and 120w systems.[/FONT] Additional lighting modules will be available separately to add on the rail. [FONT=&quot]The system was designed to replace the Illumitex product.[/FONT] There are no fans needed with this system. The beam angle is 120 degrees which is more than double the 50 degrees of the Illumitex system and does not sacrifice efficiency for this either.

I've seen these magnetic modules on the side of a induction grow lamp....sort of like a pontoon setup...are you the same guys?

No worries, didn't take it that way. It is all about the numbers.
Current grow is in a 2'x3' space, aeroponic, 3 plants, 3 light bars, 180 watts. Learned a lot, nearly killed them with accidentally over fertilizing in one of my feedings. Already cut the nutes for harvest, so won't be able to use the SPYDR on them, but looking forward to the harvest. Nice fat sticky buds.

I am setting up a new 4'x4' grow area where I will use the SPYDR. More details coming.

I got a 600 watt panel from www.topledgrowlight.com . They're based out of china (go figure with damn near anything you buy now a days) but they're pretty cheap and the construction is good, especially for the price. They have a warehouse in the US so I didn't have to wait a month for it and it came with a 3 year warranty, only stipulation is for repair and replacement parts you gotta pay shipping which kinda sucks. Anyone new to LEDs one of the biggest things to remember is the wattage listed isn't what they'll actually be putting out. The panels usually only run at 55-60% of their rated power, so my 600 watt light is actually only putting out about 330 watts or so. If you happen to go to topledgrowlight.com and buy a light just put in the notes to buyer on paypal that you were referred from rollitup, trying to talk 'em into giving a discount to RIU members

Testing is all wrapped up. We actually had the University of Washington test them out. We are working on a industrial system as well. We are just finalizing things up with retailers and marketing for it. We also signed Tommy Chong to endorse the system for us too! About a week before we go into full production and sales i'll post retail prices on here for the systems we will be offering and give the first few people who would like to purchase the system a nice rollitup discount.

Ditto. LED companies with transparent specifications do very well around here. A51 has been warmly received because of their openness with detailed uMol readings, spectrographs, par charts, and such. They even list the exact bin and part numbers for their chips.

Do the same and RIU users will be eager to evaluate your new system. Without this sort of info, you may run into some suspicion.

Looking at the website Chronikool just posted. The panel looks to me like a super pricey way to grow lettuce and herbs. I have serious doubts about about flowering cannabis with such low wattage and white plastic covering the LED chips.

Also $550 for 65 watts? No thank you.
