Added 180 watt UFO 114 watt actual (3 watt diodes) 11 Band ----> also is 2 18 watt 3000k 3 watt diode led / 2 12 watt quad spectrum 1 watt diode led.

Week 7.
----> I moved a few plants out from under led and back under cfl 2 days ago. i noticed that the plants i moved showed me sex here is the
only male--->
and his sister--->
So the light source change made them show their sex. Both rooms are 18/6 for lights.

The male left the planet here is his root system in the air injection soil at day 45-->
those are some sweet roots.

flower room Lights in flower room are slowly going down 17/7 then 16/8.

Added 80 watts florescent 4100k for side light-->
Now on all small posts with bigger fill bowl i clean then every 3 days to remove and algae.
Week 8 in an hr or so then we will be caught up to where i am at with grow.

Your girls are looking real healthy! You have me reading everything I can about injecting air into the soil.
Do you see the 50% increase in growth rate that has been claimed??????
How long between adding water?
Since the soil is totally saturated, would there be an issue up potting or would you recommend using a larger pot in the beginning?

Yes it does give that kind of boost. I hurt my plants (had some bad organic nutes) by the time i caught it it reverted them about 2 weeks. the only one not affected was the c99 and i like the sealed pots better. if you end up going AIS then talk to me. I have it figured out now. Ill use AIS in my closet and when i get a tent im gonna do EBB & flow hydro in the tent. The AIS has to be watered every day. small amounts. you goal is to keep the water right to the soil line just above the lava rocks. the soil is always moist to wet. you can over water with this system but its hard.

As for repotting i was scared at first. not anymore look at my root pic of the male i tossed. the roots hold the soil tight and the roots eat the soil as they fill it in. in 1 qt pot only 50% of soil was left the rest was roots. The roots was happy sicne they get oxygen all day and night long. Adjsutable pump is a must. petco has a big one for 300 gallon fish tank that costs $25 mos tothers are $60 or more for that output of 4 lines out( i use 1 line out to air 4 plants)

I definitely am going to incorporate led into future grow's when I can afford it, seeing some stellar results with them. Led seems to make for more frostin and combined with cmh, I think the sky's the limit.

wow. i am very amazed with your setup DC. i like the air injection i see it works very well with you!!! sorry i havent popped in!!!! but they are all looking very very lovely and happy. they got a good farmer looking over them

Ty chief. I did loose ground bad nutes. but my outdoor experience paid off big time. I now have a good understanding of the AIS system and still testing the lights. Monday i hook up a 150 watt hps and move 5 more plants in. Ill have to rearrange lights a bit but i want to clear out veg area all except mothers and clones. I start working helping Dad get a house ready to sell monday also so ill be busy and Dad doesnt know about my grow so ill have to make sure i check/water/feed every morning and night before lights out in flower room. I might not get the hps light in Monday night but will Tuesday morning for sure. Then ill know at harvest times which light setup i want to buy bigger lights for.

money i knew i could get smaller ones test them. My plan is to give a grow setup away to friends. so all the little lights will be perfect for a single plant or 2 plants each.
I do know so far i love the led's. I will be dropping allot on lights and what i get ill keep for a couple years.

I'm wondering...why you wouldn't just invest your $$ into one big light? Rather than spread it out over a couple small lights...if your objective is to do a comparison...will you be able to determine which is more effective when using such low wattage

I want this Led-CMH-Led-CMH-Led in my closet. so that is gonna be about a grand. If my ufo works out good i can get 2 more and then my cost would be $900 for all lights.if ufo isnt good enough then Ill get 3 400 watt led's for $700 + cmh $600 so $1500 total. But if i go that route i could grow 4 trees in my closet and should then get close to a pound a plant. But first i must see how these lights do. Gram per watt of led/hps. im not gonna count the cfl drop ins. ill have 172 actuall led watts and 150 hps. that is 322 watts if i can get .5 gram per watt with these lights that is 161 grams or 5oz 21 grams. I would be so happy. Lets hope i can get that yield bro.
