No seafood for us unfortunately, but we did have our first braai of the season. Even though it was still pretty cold and dark by the time I got started. Only pork sausage and chicken kebab but it was tasty tasty. Also made some potato salad (wifes family's recipe) and bread from the local market. Then a banana baked on the braai with some chocolate and dates for filling.

what was left of the tattie salad

I've been living on sandwiches for a few days, so last night I made lasagna. I make kickass lasagna because I make my own sauce, and it's all about the sauce :)

Mmmmnnn, I love Flakes, but I have to go to an English store the other side of the City to get them. Same thing I do with the foil. Last night I was so baked I forgot I put the bloody thing on, haha, lept up from the couch, "ffs and other such expletives", but it was still kosha.

Under the blanket of edam is a duck egg omelette with steak, asparagus, sweet yellow pepper and tomato and even though I'm stuffed I reckon I could get through one of those delicious looking flake bananas, definitely gonna try them soonView attachment 3018546

I'll be trying that one too.
The ducks are back laying after their winter break, I picked up 14 duck eggs and 16 hen eggs this morning so I'll give the bran flakes a break for awhile:)
