I don't even own a spin rod...lol Build all of my own rods and tie the right flies that I don't want to have to buy over the winters. I can spend a summer fishing 4-5 different flies is all...Magic Flies....lol:joint::peace:

ty, I wish i had a pic of the 4 foot bull shark I caught a year ago here. I just shake my head when i see someone swimming laps up the beach coast at 6 in the evening. Being an angler you become familiar with the waters ya know. I sure as hell know when to be in these warm floridian waters and when not to,mornings and evenings as most of you will know is prime feeding for all fish not just sharks.

the biggest sharks i have caught, are two bronze whalers, one was ten foot six inches long 220 kilos.caught with 50 lb test line off the beach.
the second was nine foot six inches 180 kilos same line different beach..
they both took well over three hours to land.............:-)

i spend all my spare time at or in the ocean.
live in the SW of WA, beautiful beaches and fishing. surf in the morn, fish all day, surf in the arvo:mrgreen:
we have recently had increased restrictions on commercial fishing periods and rec fishing limits around here...(for the best) all our pink snapper and nanagai were getting plundered, mmm snapper.
Have recently been getting into free diving though, bought a 5ft spear gun n been loving it, anyone else a freedive or scuba fan?

5 min from my doorstep:blsmoke:

wow those are some big sharks O4, I fought a huge wahoo off the coast of Aruba for an hour and fourtyfive minutes. I couldnt imagine fighting much longer than that it wears you out. I am hitting up a spot I know of for some big snook this weekend, snook are great game fish here in FL. Its not season for them but I almost always release my catch, all about that fight;-) by the way what kind of ignorant statement is that loo whatever your name is, I have fished florida waters since I was 5 and have landed pretty much every fish the gulf has to offer. And I always release sharks, i find them amazing and very beneficial to the marine eco.

snook are great to catch my favorite fish to catch is the tuna on a light line, they give you the fight of your life.
it is all about the fight but i like to eat fish so the odd one just gets unlucky and ends up in my pan....

That is like the cuest thing. OMG. rep for you.
too friggin cuuuute:mrgreen:
My boy was over my shoulder and saw this.
So he wanted me to ask...

cool to see all of the responses;-) yeah i take it sewrious but i couldnt help but to bend the rules a little bit today, this family was busting their asses for a fish and nothing was going right for them so i hooked them up. other than that i always have followed the bag limits. Anyways yeah I probably go fishing atleast 4 times a week...LOVE it. Going for speckeled seas trout off of the grass flats tomorrow, they gotta be 15inch min two days ago i caught 2 one was 15 1/2 other 18 so it was a good day. I will post more pics of my catch in the future. Smoke that kush and go fishing LOL
Yeah i did feel guilty though, lol a little anyway b/c the fishing rules are the most legit gov't enforced thing in my opinion. They actually help bring species populations back. FL wild life and game doesnt fuck around either. if you get caught which peeps do all the time, they fine you and take ALL of your gear.

OMG dude. My man would go 4 times a week if he could but he goes once a week for certain...rain or shine. They don't care. My dude is over the edge with this new hobby of his. He used to fish when he was younger but only just rediscovered it again.

Every time they come home they bring somethinhg different.
Thank GAWD he didn't bring this one home.

:o I would have flipped.

wow thats a big old fat daddy cat:-) I caught one when i was visiting my aunt in georgia, but no where near that size hahaha. O4 i love to catch tuna, we find them running off shore here in the spring b/c they spawn. they are usually way to deep to fish for me but occasionally when i go grouper fishing with friends we run into smaller schools;-)
