At, around, or just under 1000ppm for coco during flowering is ok. Go a little less till you notice the ladies flourishing.

They are in small plastic pots, which means is does not need all that much water to get the desired hydration and runoff. Make sure , since you are in coco, you feed and water everyday. Add some calmg in case you are using ro water cause they will need it.

What about light distance should my plants be at ? Some of my plants I have on crates helping an extra 12" but the others are on the ground level the light sits 3.5-4ft above the canopy

You can lower your lights, or prop the girls up so the distance is around one ft. A good way to check this, is put your hand between the tops of the plants and the lights, it should be comfortably warm.

1) Coco you should use a pH of 5.5 to 6.0 but more like 5.5 because as the plant feeds the EC (nute strength) drops and pH rises allowing all macro and micros to be taken up.

2) When it comes to nutes/EC,less equals more.Try feeding twice a day using an EC of 1.0 to 1.6 aka 500ppm to 800ppm @ .5 conversion.

3) As a newb the benchmark you should be aiming for is .5 gpw which under 1600w would be 800 grams aka 28.6 ounces aka 1 and 3/4 pounds. If you can't hit atleast .5 gpw then you're doing something seriously wrong.

4) It ain't easy trying to hit 1gpw and even harder to get an even higher gpw than 1gpw.

ok so I feed once every 4 days depending on the weight of the pot .. I hand feed so am I not feeding enough ?? And if I feed 2 a day both times with nutes at 500 ppm what do I feed 30 ml per plant? Or just keep watering even though medium is moist?

y plants are no where close to that distance ... They're about 3-4 ft away

Ok in my veg the t5 is now over 6 cherry, love potion, 2 spicey white devil and 4 skywalker light sits 6" off the tip aprox 1x 2 area and in my flower I raised them on milk crates now 12" away from light

800 grams is a reasonable expectation first sog. How much you vetran green thumbs expect to grow with only 1 1k watt. Which methof woulf you use. What i mean by method is mediums, #of clones or seeds/ and veg length. What is your prefered way

Ok well I'm growing in coco growing 4 at a time a month perpetual so 4 every month all my statins are 55-65 days
I won't flower until the plant reaches 14" in length and has at least 3 tops
right now I veg under t5 12-5.5-1-5.5 and 12-12 flower my last feeding was 5.2-5.5 and 102x10 ppm I lowered it by 800ppl from last feeding and I added "rock" resonator

this is my 1st grow in sog and i have a 4x6 tray filling in 7X6' pots i veg for about a week max two im using botanicare airation formula coco/verm mix botanicare nutes i veg under 12-5.5-1-5.5 light cycle with mh 600 over about 40 little clones 2-4' each thn i transplant to 6' pots and start in flower room.... i flower with 2 hps one 1000 one 600 1600 so i should get 1600grms right? so....buds start to form at a slow pace at week 2-3 and then cease to grow the leave stay small i checked my ph and after nutes are mixed i get 6.0.-6.3pH ppm about 120x10-180x10ppm i water handfed only when needed till i see water water drip then i stop am i under watering? to small pots? i used 3 gallon ones and the same thing happend.... can anybody shoot me some info

ok. first things.. no u don't get 1600 just because u did a SOG.. 1st grw in sog.. I wouldn't plan on getting 1gram watt.. if u have your room dialed in .. and your nutes dialed in.. and environments perfect.. yes.. 1 gram a watt.. with new bulbs.. anywere to 3 grams a watt.. has been done.. but what people don't get is.. GENETICS.. say u have a strain.. that each Cola will only weigh 4-6 grams .. if u want 1600grams u need a hell of a lot more Colas. so either fill your room . or grow a better yielding strain.. its tough to get up to 1 gram per watt..

a lot of people brag.. that they get over 3 pounds per 1000w.. but we don't see it .. it proly happens.. but not as often as people think.

SOG and yields only go together with the right strain. or plant count.

I run a 3000w room and my last harvest yielded 2902 grams.. o ya.. and big yields are usually mono crops.. I have a harvest coming up in 2 weeks.. 5 strains.. should hit a gram per watt.. but I run 42-50 plants in 5 gallon growbags with 3-4 gallons of soil in each bag. I top the plants so I have between 5-15 main tops.. then toss into flower.. after stretch cut off all the small shit and branches not getting enough light. and at that time I create my canopy by moving plants around to there final spots.. making sure every top is getting light.. I defol the large fan leaves to allow he tops to get light. and stake or tie tops up.,. its a lot of work..

but if u do.. SOG.. then Big Plants.. then SOG.. Then Big Plants.. harvests stay up.. with a big veg room . u can make It work perpetually.

good luck. hope all goes well..

another thing.. I use 12/12 till the last 4 weeks. then11/13 . and last week.. of flush I raise my lights.. I find it helps with getting stinkier bud.

image.jpgA week later I have bigger buds and stronger looking clones under my t-5 than when I had em under the hid mh bulb .... So I'm at 14" for one of my skywalker og and my cherry is at 12" ima switch em to flower this week

Ok. That medium you are using, aeration mix, requires a lot of water. What pH does the mix recommend, what pH do the nutrients recommend to feed at. Since it's coco possibly you may want to be feeding at 5.9, either that or you want to move up to 6.5 and feed them like soil. Water and Feed each day, it's coco.

Watering every day for coco is bad advise. Even my 5.5 inch containers with full grown flowering plants can go 48 hours between watering and the 3 gallons go about a week with full grown plants. Seedlings can go a week in small containers.

Its also important to water enough so a small amount of runoff drains out of the container.. this will keep your soil clean so there isn't stale unstable amounts of nutrients.
