i wanna switch to led but what light works?

hey everyone. i know its been asked before but cant seem to find what im looking for. i currently have a 600w hps and am hoping to switch to led. i have a 4'x2' grow box 6`-8‘ high. i currently have about $2000 to blow so any help would be appreciated on what light(s) to get. i know that led will not yeild as much as an hps and im alright with that. and i read that it would be best to get 2 smaller for better light spread. i was thinking about hydroponics hut but have read some bad reviews about the internal structure of the lights. so now i have no idea what to get. thanks ladies and fellas.

2 area 51 RW150 panels or 2 area 51 xgs 190's either or.. best leds for the money. top quality parts and best warranty. Theres several threads in this section that run them . you will have a $1000 left over .. the onyx panels should work too. They haven't been documented yet. They do have top quality parts and a lesser warranty though.

That lesser warranty may be not as bad as you think, with the reef onyx they offered the same 18 months but after that time you're charged a 75 dollar flat rate to fix it.
The horticulture onyx is going to be a little different with a higher flat rate since all items used to build cost more than the reef model.

oh I guess the lighting scene won't progress any for those 10 years eh? I change out lights every couple years or so whether I need to or not.

thanks for the response guys. i was thinking about the area 51's but wasnt sure which ones to get. ill also check out the inda gro, and the onyx's. their are so many on the market and its hard to separate the good ones from the shitty ones. hence the reason i was gonna go with hydro hut lol

for the a51 xgs 190 all the lights are warm white, wouldnt that be more of a flower light instead of a veg and flower?

Worked fine for me for both so far. Veg stayed nice and tight and didn't stretch at all until 12/12. So far filling in nicely.

Good fucking god! Something about that damn embedded photo everytime I try to reply and comment it throws damn TOR and this stupid cloudflare server for a loop, makes me enter a damn security check then says the connection reset. Tried 4 times prior to this.

That looks badass!!!! Though I must say I'm skeptical. One the photoshop for whatever reason intuitively is screaming photoshop at me though that could just be because the photo appears to be taken at dusk with residual sun light as opposed to night with only reflected sunlight from the moon. Perhaps to give a greater appearance, together and the inconsistency in shadow cast. That and the fact it's supposed to be a single 320 with a perfectly round reflector and lens yet spreads light oblong? Kinda makes me think it's 2 units and not one. Though I'm not sure.

Not dogging on it by anymeans. I've just been brought up/educated/trained to always use the Socratic method. If a subject makes you form questions regarding it, ask them and try to develop a better understanding and confidence. At first when i looked at the site and saw the 2014 time stamp first thing that came to mid was the fly-by-night sites that pop up look good then disappear, but this place was originally created Oct 2012. So at least we know that much for sure.

Nothing wrong with being skeptical GK! especially for the $$$$ their asking.

Very hard to tell if the reflector(not pictured in the product pics) is round or oblong from 100ft up, ditto on being one or two units from the pic. Their cobs are proprietary(in house according to them) makes it hard to believe that they would beat a giant tech company like Cree(cobs) in lumens per watt/intensity @ the same wattage. I have a feeling they have been around longer than they told me(haven't officially launched yet I was told) also stated that they worked with Academy A&S(probably movie/film led tech company before or still??)

Now if they would stick this cree high bay at the same height http://www.cree.com/News-and-Events/Cree-News/Press-Releases/2014/January/CXB-intro and there would be a MAJOR difference in light output from their product, I would believe MOST of innoled's claims:P

Also first led company that states their damp location rated????? with NO certs.....lol

Good eye Skunky, you're right, it has been photoshopped.
I thought I looked it over thoroughly the first time, but I missed something.
As someone who not only works with grow lights, but also works in lighting (aka gaffing) for films and tv, I'm mad at myself for missing it.
The 3 people standing on the left hand side of the photo are only casting 2 shadows :cry:

One word people. OSRAM Leds. Loads higher PAR for less input. Ive Already tested & journalised the Plant Photonics DS-90 LED,. the link to my journal is on their website & my homepage on profile.
Ive just recieved the First UK manafactured Osram LED light aswell to test. Exciting times are ahead with this new generation of LED's
