thats a hell of a catfish.

could have got some nice fillets offa that one..:-)

we catch the tuna here on the surface they boil the water as they chase the bait fish,huge schools of them.we watch for the seabirds and if there are a heap of them bombing the water we know the tuna are stirring the bait fish up.:-)

I'm pretty chill wif what hubby brings home within reason.
Since he is the only one eating the fish I doubt it would have been worth it for him to bring it home .
Besides he says that you only bring home what you can eat and you don't bring home young or old fish and this one was old,

Now a tuna :shock::o

Oh please...NOT a chance a friggin tuna is gonna get in through this front door.:?

i got a lake right behind my house like 20 yards away i cought liek 10 bass to day nothing to big liek 2 or 3 pounds :)

i have two fishing trips coming up, one at some river about 3 hours out and the other trip is next month in La Paz Mexico. I've been going to la paz to fish for three years now there's good big fish like mahi mahi,wahoo, dorado, yellow tail, marlin, etc.. oh and least year i hooked up with some ladies that brought some really nice sticky icky.

Hubby would envy you bigtime. :? He loves to fish. Bass and walleye....I think they are happy with just about anything.
The only time I have seen hubby pout about fishing is when he almost caught a fish ......t-h-i-s- ......big and it got away. :hump:

Uh chick? I'm a guy, sticky icky= ganja. And no that's not small league fishing, last year it took me an hour to reel in a marlin it's a workout to real these fish in, but fun.

An hour to reel in a marlin? That isn't that long at all for that type of fish. Not that I know much about fishing but can't help but learn wif all the fishing stuff hubby is into. :evil:

Fishing shows, fishing magazines, books, dvds...:-?

I will be doing a bit of fishing myself in a few weeks but nothing like what you guys are talking here. :-| It should be fun tho. :D

Im going to my moms in wisconsin this weekend for some fishing. Mostly wallie and musky, Ive had lots of follows but have only landed 3 musky. My dad has an old farm pond on his land and we can pull 3 pounders out all day with a 4-5 pounder every now and then. Oh and everyone should catch and release. Thanks
