No.4. "Enriched with mg plant food" that plant "food" is probably chemical... I would wrinse the shit out of it before you mix it and yes to cooking the soil, 4 weeks min..

An impressive mix, but a bit of overkill in my opinion ( yes, opinions are like assholes, everyone has one ). A mix of 40% FFOF, 40% Happy Frog, 15% perlite and the remaining 5% a mix of dolomite lime, bloodmeal, bonemeal and worm castings has always been a tried and true mix for me. No nutes for 30 days and thereafter just some teas. No chemical nutes whatsoever. Just my opinion.

I agree with the green monkey. Seems to be overkill.I was one of the fortunate people to get some of that FFOF that had bad bugs in it about a year ago. Do not know where the bugs came from but it was a battle all through veg. Finally got it fixed by flower time. I do Organic also but I have found you can waste a lot of time messing with all of that or just by good soil with the good bugs and use tea with your ferts. Need to get that Micro action going as soon as possible and then your ferts will work better. The only thing I usually add to soil is perlite or something to let the soil not compact. I tried something new and it seems to help. The soil retains water a bit better but also helps drainage. I am mixing Lava Rocks in the soil. The small ones about 1 inch size. I would guess apx 20% of mixture. My 45 day old plants are running between 30 and 34 inches now. Normally I would be watering every day or every 2 days depending on temp. The rocks seem to give me a extra day of no watering.

I water twice a week with that mix in 3 gallon pots. I never even check on the girls other days, just let 'em roll.

Hi Mr. Greenmonkey. What are you temps? My low is about 80* my high is up to 93*. It is a bit hot where I am at. One thing about it is it get the microbs working good. My grows are mostly in 1 or 2 gallon pots. So I do need to water a bit more. Almost a Hydro deal.

Those temps are wayyyyy high, you should be looking at 80 for a max, 78 is perfect, and a 10 degree drop during lights out is preferable. Not saying your grow won't turn out good, just giving you what the weed prefers.

It seems high and yes in a ideal world I would keep them down but ac cost a lot. I am happy and my plants are happy if I can keep it at 90 or below.
