Lol hell yeah. Some names now days are just insane.

To be honest I'm really looking forward to the AK-48s. It was suggest by a friend, according to him it's super strong and yields heavy, which is great obviously haha. They are originally from Nirvana seeds.
I've grown ak-48 a bunch lol.

Actually think it was one of the very first strains I grew and ordered from nirvana lol

It's very easy to grow and can take quite the beating. Huge yields though, more of an uplifting high. Very vigorous and grows nice dense fruity nugs :D

Oh and she loves her food :D
Alright awesome. You remember finishing times at all? Throwing the first females under 12/12 from seed for a quick harvest, clones will go under the T5s for a long 2 month veg and finish in 5g smart pots.

I like pretty much everything else you said haha. I love strains that love food, they always produce that real good dank.

Update Time: May 22nd, 2014 - The 600 is alive!

Just cleaned up the cool tube and fans and such, plugged her in and she started right up no problems. I miss the yellow light. I also cut a couple pieces of wood for the bottom for a better water blocker so it doesn't spill off the plastic. The front and back will just lean against the wall and doors.

So right now I have 5x Purple Monkeys and 8x AK-48 sprouts. I got some other things going but won't bring them up until they are more for sure a part of the rest. ANYWAYS. The Purple Monkeys are on Day 7 from seed, the AKs are on Day 3 from seed, and they have all been under a 24/0 light schedule.

I'm transplanting the five PMs into 2g s-pots today, and will be putting them under the 600w HPS straight into a 12/12 light schedule. The AKs will probably be transplanted either tomorrow, or after the weekend.

Here is a picture of the closet empty. Once I'm done transplanting that PMs I'll take a couple more pictures.

Lovin' the comeback so far. :)

Breeder claims 7-9 but I ran mine 10-11 so it really just all depends. Clones real easy though.

Why don't ya ever come around the 6 anymore bro?

Alright, so I got the Purple Monkeys replanted in their second homes, 2g s-pots. They'll stay in those for 2-3 weeks until I pick out the two best females, then those two will go into 5g s-pots.

The light is sitting 32" from the canopy, which is fine for now, but I normally run it a lot closer, especially during stretch and flower. I think a have a fan wearing out. We'll just have to wait and see how I can solve that problem haha.

It is good to see you cranking up the machine.

Warm it up, everything you've got.

C'mon you apes, you wanna live forever?

Haha, thanks man!

It defiantly feels good to be back. It almost makes me feel like I was lost those last couple months. Now I defiantly know what I'm going to be doing for a living.

Lookin good man. I'll be watching those Ak's. I've got one in now, but may have to dump her. They sent me a little white crap seed, and she struggled to pop so I had to dig her up and rebury. She's definitely stunted, but I'm hoping the small seed resulted in not enough start-up newts and not undeveloped genetics!

Thanks man, it's nice getting back into it. Been too long. The AKs have been doing great for me so far. All eight I got popped and are about 5 days old. Might be transplanting them today.

That's kind of crap that you got a bogus seed. I didn't get mine directly from the seed bank, they were gifted from a friend, but he got them from Nirvana

How's everyone memorial weekend starting off? Mine not too bad.

So I was complaining about heat. I recently transplanted some week old seedlings under my 600 and the temp is telling me around 81-82f, which I wouldn't complain about, but the light is 32" away from the canopy.

Since I cannot afford a new inline fan, I added a second duct booster onto my cool tube. I'm hoping this will help cool it down in there. With some stuff I had on, duct tape, and some hose clamps, it's sealed in tight. Now just to see if the temps drop.

Look like it worked out fine! It reminds me of my silencer, just kinda hanging there looking like gravity is gonna kick it's ass lol Let us know how much it drops those temps
Actually the metal sleeve I put over the booster and cool tube was slightly angled on one side, it's actually secure as fuck. Would take a good amount to take it down, and the cool tube would come down with it haha.

Little update....

Purple Monkeys seem to be doing fine, little slow but I'm sure they are still adjusting a little from the transplant. They have been under the 600w at 12/12 light for 4 days now. They spent their first week as seedlings under 40w of CFLs.

Today I'll be transplanting the AK48s into 2g s-pots and putting them with the Purple Monkeys under 12/12.

Here are a few shots of the Purple Monkey babies. Two females out of the five would be perfect.
